Once in a life time!

Campus Life:

An annual fest like Chaos and The red brick summit happens once a year on campus. people from outside also attended a few pro shows. It is completely organized by students. There are more than 50 clubs that are designed in such a manner that they cover academic aspects and extracurricular aspects.

My life at IIM A

Hostel Facilities:

The new campus accommodation is comparable to a 5-star hotel. Single accommodation with attached washrooms. There is plenty of light and tables and cupboards. The campus mess serves delicious food and we have 4 outlets other than the mess on the campus. Bhavesh bhai is open for students up to 2 am every night and 5 during exams.

Hostel Fee : INR 3000 per year

Campus Life:

Networking is common. There are many sports events and cultural events like Tnite Aakrosh Sangharsh from August to December. The library is the most beautifully built structure. Many books and amazing spaces to study 24/7. Classrooms are huge with 4 projectors mikes and ACs. There are a total of 50 clubs/SIGs on campus. A few names are career clubs like consult club, prod man, niche, FAB club, and F comm. Music club decibel and dance club footloose have many informal jam nights and performances throughout the year besides the formal ones.

One stop for every skill required in the life

Hostel Facilities:

We have a single occupancy room with wooden furnished and attached rooms, and balconies every room on the campus is fabulous..and each floor consists of 8 rooms and a common kitchen. each building consists of 3 to 5 floors and with lift facility We have a common mess it's a student-running mess...there are multiple places to eat right from north Indian cuisine to south Indian...tea and coffee cafes and fancy restaurants... everything will be under the control of student bodies. Registration everything will be done once you get admission...the price wise for the hostel is affordable for the facilities they are providing.

Hostel Fee : INR 200000 per year

Campus Life:

In January they conducted Chaos( cultural) a famous fest students from all over states gather, and 3 sports events such as inter and intra college were conducted in the past few months We have a strong and fantastic library called Vikram Sarabhai Library supported by TATA and groups. And we have databases and a to z websites for our case competitions and internship.. and we have lifetime access The class consists of 4 screens with an excellent projector and a broad green board. The classes are a very wide capacity of 100 but only 90 people sit in them. Professors can easily see us and concentrate on us...and we have name tags in front of us. We have a sports complex and grounds for different outdoor games...we have a pool, fuse ball, cardrooms, chess, squash, shuttle, tennis etc., 3 big gyms with trainers and a world-class pool We have 52 students clubs and students council affairs and even placements will be taken care of by students only

Hostel Facilities:

Individual rooms are provided to students along with attached bathrooms. There are 43 dorms in total and each dorm is provided with high security. There is a student mess along with other 5 eateries on campus.

Campus Life:

The campus life is quite lively with various co-curricular activities happening all year round. The fest Chaos happens around the month of January and is a 4-day fest. The library is well maintained with many articles and books and various available databases. The classroom facilities are nice. There are almost 50 clubs on campus.

Hostel Facilities:

I live in new Dorms. All the new hostels have great facilities like AC, geyser, Bed and lighting. each dorm has a refrigerator, washing machine, and micro oven facilities. There is mess which provides breakfast, lunch and dinner. on campus there are canteens like Kamala's serving Gujrathi thali, Hyderabadi Biryani, college cafe, cafe transtaffal, cafe tomorrow and Radhiks a south Indian cuisine based. Meals are basically Gujarati meals. it is good in an overall sense and affordable. registration for hostel happens during the admission process and are difinitely afoordable with all the above mentioned facilities.

Hostel Fee : INR 85000 per year

Campus Life:

Campus life is indeed great! There is an induction program for 2 days to acclimatize and give a sense of IIM A culture at the beginning of the course. there are events like T-nite to do team building, TRBS-the red brick summit and CHAOS, annual cultural fest lasting for 3 days. Classes have modern equipment like a projector and classroom architecture is such that the instructor could see and call on every student when required. It is completely air-conditioned. There are many clubs to enhance skills both from academic, cultural, and extracurricular perspectives. there are facilities to play football, basketball, swim, abadminton and state of art gym facilities. Akrsoh is annual intra-college sports competition held across the section, and Sangarsh is inter-college sport festival held at IIMA. All the clubs are run by students under the supervision of faculty. there are clubs like CONSULT, OPTIMA, anBETA to enhance learning. There are social clubs like Decibel, Prakriti, and Panecia.

The best B school of India: IIMA

Hostel Facilities:

3 types of hostels/dorms (called at IIMA) are there in IIMA. Old dorms, New dorms, and Married Student Hostel. Two messes are serving food to the whole IIMA community. In terms of quality, I would rate it as average, considering the type of food served. It is mandatory to stay in hostels for PGP students.

Hostel Fee : INR 85500 per year

Campus Life:

Redbrick summit is the annual management fest (Sept-Oct), and CHAOS is the annual cultural fest (Jan) of IIMA. Vikram Sarabhai Library of IIMA is one of the largest and best libraries in India, with the availability of millions of books and journals. More than 50 clubs and groups are run by the students.

The mess of IIM Ahmedabad is on the list of messes that have passed the food quality audit. So you can raise your expectations for the food here. Apart from the restaurants, IIM Ahmedabad has 2 canteens. One is in the Old Campus while the other is in the New Campus. For PGPX (1st year MBA students) food from the New Campus canteen was included in the fees. The canteen served the best food one can avail at a mess. Non-veg is also served frequently. You get a lot of options for both veg and non-vegetarian in a 3 buffet system. For PGPs (2nd year students), food is available at the Old Campus canteen. Ques. Are the girls living in the campus hostel of IIM Ahmadabad or IIM Indore allowed to go out of campus? If yes, till when and what are the procedures?

At IIM Ahmedabad, there are no restrictions on hostel timings, clothing, or entry of the opposite gender. Without any restrictions, all students are free to leave and return to campus whenever they want. There are no restrictions on what students can wear anywhere on campus, including in class. The only exception to this rule is that students should dress formally for company presentations. Students have complete freedom to visit the other gender's hostels whenever they want. Many of my friends had, for all practical purposes, shifted to their girlfriends' hostel rooms and were rarely seen in their own hostels. IIM Ahmedabad gives its students a lot of freedom and believes in the spirit of personal responsibility. All IIM Indore students, including female students, are permitted to leave campus. There are campus buses that leave at regular intervals. One can also book their own transportation. The only restriction is that everyone must return by 11:30 pm unless there is a valid reason to be outside, such as a late-night flight. ...Read more

Yes , girls and boys are allowed to stay in each other’s hostel in IIM Ahmedabad. The hostels are not common but you can visit the opposite gender hostels anytime. This relaxation is because of group studies and assignments which require students in the same group to spend time together in a room....Read more

At IIM Ahmedabad, rather than hostels, there is a dorm culture. Usually, around 25-40 students reside in a dorm. IIM Ahmedabad campus is divided into two parts, i.e. old campus and the new campus. Dorms 1-18 are on the old campus, while other dorms are on the new campus. Old campus dorms were built earlier and have a heritage feeling with red bricks. New campus dorms have better infrastructure. The rooms are bigger. Some rooms even have ACs or private bathrooms. Basic amenities like bed, mattress, mirror, whiteboard, study table, chair, cupboard, shoe racks, curtains are provided for students.
