Placements of the college are good, with an average of around 14.18 LPA in 2022. Core placements in Chemical Engineering were also good with the highest one bagging around 19 LPA and an average of around 9 LPA.
You can get Admission to Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology, Surat only through JOSAA and CSAB counselling after giving Joint Entrance Exam (JEE ) Mains. Reservation quotas are there for OBC, ST, SC, EWS, and PWD. The better your rank, the more easily you get admission.
In the 7th sem companies start coming to campus for full-time roles and in third-year companies come for internships. Almost every student in circuit branches gets offers. The computer science students' placement ratio is about 99%.
Admission through JEE EXAM. after jee students have to go through JOSAA COUNCILING where the allocation of seats is conducted smoothly. There might be DD or cheque you have to pay after you freeze the allocated seat.
students are eligible for campus selection in the 7th semester. Many well-known companies are here for recruitment like ONGC, amazon, Microsoft, Infosys, tata, BARK, etc. and they made very good offers of 8 to 10 LPA on average. placement percentage of SVNIT is very good i.e. around 90%. My plan is to get into campus placement and after that a startup.
Admission to NIT was taken by giving jee mains. the eligibility criteria to give jee mains was 75% marks in 12 standards. The application form is released on the official website of NTA, which charges 1000Rs for each exam. the form was released in the month of December or January. The cut-off of the colleges increased for reservations for OBC/general EWS and increase more for SC/ST and even more for PWD. if the admission process were a little bit simpler then it is beneficial for students otherwise it was good
From 5th semester means from 3rd-year placements starts. L&T, KEC international, Adani Power LTD, Reliance, Infosys, Intellect, and Adani come for placement. The highest is 40 lakhs per annum according to the previous year. Average: 14 lakh per annum, 80% of students are getting placement from svnit each year.
A student whose family issues are there can get the chance to study and make their future bright. All castes of students get equal opportunities in the field of education. Students who belong to poor families get the best exposure along with the other students. Improvement that should be taken in the admission process is that they take some extra money along with the fees which are returned later and this process is very slow. So this to be figured out.
from the sixth semester, students become eligible for placements. the company's sites are oracle, amazon, bpcl, Qualcomm, etc. the highest package in the chemical branch is 18.45 LPA whereas the lowest is 6 LPA 90 percent of students got placed in the chemical branch. after getting a degree looking for a gate
Admission to any NITs is under JOSAA counseling followed by CSAB. NTA conducts JEE MAINS every year to take admissions from that. Reservations of various types are there such as home state, female, OBC, SC, ST, etc. the admission process is smooth everything is online.
The course curriculum is quite vast and stretched out. It becomes difficult in the starting 2 semesters but later on, with only the core subjects and maths, it becomes easy. Would like the same to happen to me since I am currently facing it since I'm in the first semester. Faculty members are quite helpful and teach well.
Eligibility was in general quota for me, as always getting in on this quota is not easy so I had to get good marks through my entrance exams which were JEE Mains. Reservation is a little difficult as well since there are very less seats available.
the average package offered for b.tech students was 10.5 lakhs. apart from this, the highest package offered during SVNIT b.tech placements was from cse and ece dept. of 40.5 LPA. almost 80 percent of students were placed last year.
You needed to clarify jee mains exam with the below passing cutoff. even if you clear the cutoff, you need to meet the minimum departmental cutoff requirements. application form can be found on the josaa website by NTA. I would wish to get a smooth calculated calendar for easy understanding of the institute.
After completing the third year of the course i.e the 6th semester, the student is eligible for sitting in the placement-related exams and the interviews. Awesome companies like Maruti Suzuki, Microsoft, airtel, Bharat Petroleum, J.P.morgan, TATA, Intel, Godrej and many big companies visited the campus for the placements. The highest package of SVNIT is 49.5 LPA and the average package is 8 to 10 LPA. 79% of students are placed in SVNIT. My plans after completing my degree are to take placement.
you can take admitted to Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology, Surat by clearing the Joint Enterance Exam (JEE) and achieving the required cut-off for admission. The counselling takes place by JOSAA. You need to fill up the form and give the required fees for participating.
My branch is an electrical engineering and I choose this branch because of my interest in circuital subjects. Our department provides excellent facilities. The students to teacher ratio are 60:1 which is nice and the officers are the best in their field. The term exams are conducted timely and for me, it was not much difficult to pass.
The admission process of Nit surat is through josaa counseling on the basis of jee mains score. Our college also has reserved seats but I didn't get many benefits from the reservation because 50 percent of seats are already reserved for home-state students.
The placement count is very good. In my college they target 70% placement should be done but not all students are interested in taking placements. Some have plans to go outside India for doing master's and some are willing to do MBA
In the admission process, first, we had to give JEE mains exam. And after u qualify it as per your respective cut-off then you had to give JEE advanced. The eligibility for this was you should have 75% in 12 with PCM.
There is counselling called JOSAA for the admission process in nits. Students who appeared for the jee mains exams conducted by NTA can register for counselling. There are no application fees for the admission process. You can get lots of benefits if you have reserved a category. The overall Admission process is smooth. According to me, there is not nothing to improve further but yes the category benefits are too much and it's not fair for the deserving general candidates
SPBy - Shreya PatelAdmission in this college is through jossa(Joint Seat Allocation Authority) Counselling. for to eligible for this counselling you should appear in jee mains (joint entrance examination) and score above the cutoff. In 2022 the cutoff is 8s around 90percentile. through jee mains, you are eligible for NITs, and IIITs which is a government college so you will get reservation benefits on the basis of both gender and caste. The admission process is quite smooth and I didn't face such difficulties
SsBy - Stuti singhThe cutoff for admission in the civil branch is about 95 percentile in jee mains for the general category...the entrance exam is fairly difficult and it takes a lot of hard work to clear it...the admission process is very streamlined and efficient. I had encountered no difficulties in my admission process
