The annual tuition fee is Rs.1.32 lakhs, hostel fees are Rs.20,000, and mess fee is Rs.24000.There is a scholarship also for both jee and direct entry students. I score 9.4 cgpa in the 1st sem and I also got a scholarship from smvdu.
There are no hikes in fee structure over the years of this university. There are many companies which provide numerous jobs to this university over the years like Mahendra, Tisco, and IBM. They also provide better packages. It is very cheap and affordable fees for this campus.
The cost is very high in this college for to middle class. Yet, if we compare the cost of other colleges, the cost is fairly ok. I didn't qualify for a scholarship. I have applied for a loan to pay my college fees. I haven't got it yet. Yet, I am trying my best.
The college takes admission on basis of JOSAA, CSAB, and direct Jee entry. But due to covid-19, at that time, the college decided to take admission on basis of 10+2 merit basis and the cut-off was 95.6% (in CSE).
SCBy - Shivam ChopraThe application process for this university was very easy and simple. At that time covid was at its top level and that's why there was no entrance exam conducted. But now for every course, there is an entrance exam (eg. Cuet exam ). For B. ARCH. AND ENGINEERING COURSES, FEES range from 7 to 12 lacs per single degree. And for a management and Arts graduation degree, fees range from 4 to 8 lacs.
VCBy - Vivek ChoudharyI got into smvdu through the CUET exam. The University eligibility was just 45 percent in PCM in 10th and 12th. The cut-off was quite high, but I scored good marks, so I got into college through counseling in round 2. Its NIRF ranking is 101 this year but was better previously. It is a very good college if we see the placement percentage. The greatest advantage it has is its surrounding nature. It is fabulous. It is in J&K, so anybody should know how beautiful it is. All over, it is a very good college with good job opportunities. So people should know about the college.
