I chose Bsc Chemistry because I was interested in the subject and it has got a variety of opportunities. I think the faculty is a little bit strict but they will always be available for us no matter what the situation is. The faculty to students ratio is 1:4 approximately, which is quite a good count. Most of the faculties in the Chemistry department are PhD holders. It shows the efficiency of the faculties. Even the guest lecturers are PhD holders. The teaching method is very simple. They explain each and every line very patiently. They conduct term exams in each term, ie, every 6 months. It will be very easy to attend if we are up to date with the syllabus
The admission process was simple. There is no cut-off at ZGC. The candidate should be a 12th pass. The application form, application fees and application date can be found on their website. I got admitted to the merit quota. So all together the expense was just Rs10000. I didn't get any reservation benefits. I was in the OBC category. I think there should be some improvement in the admission process. I think all the admission procedures should be made possible from one office itself. They have 2 offices, one in Thali. So it's very difficult and tedious to go from one office to another
Exams were held by teachers at the correct time. It repeated every semester. It was a bit difficult to pass the exam because the course is very difficult to learn. So you should be very concentrated in order to pass the exams. The teachers and staffs are very supportive of that.
I took this course because it opens a wide range of career options. Application forms can be collected from the office. There is a chance for a reservation if you are an SC/ST person. Also if you are a bright sportsman. I feel like the admission process is a bit slow. It should be improved.
BBA students got placements last year. But considering our department we were not given any placements yet. But our principal works to get something done for students. Usually, the college has a higher pass percentage in this area and is well-reputed for its academic function. I opt to do MSc. Microbiology in the same college after my B.Sc.
Course eligibility is laid by Calicut University as the college is affiliated with the university. Minimum eligibility requires 50 percent in the board exam. And should have attended physics, biology, and chemistry at plus two levels. The admission process at college is usually smooth without any hassle. The faculty at the admission desk helps a lot and shows keen interest to welcome new students to college.
I like the course zoology. in that course, there have UG and PG . in my class a total of 34 students. In there a total of 36 seats are available. In my department, teachers are doctorate degrees completed, and the teaching method is very understandable.
The eligibility of the course is passed +2 above 75% mark, the application form find on the university website. The college gives reservations, and the admission process is good. The application fee and dates they gave in a circular.
Bsc physics is one of the best courses to take plus two science schemes. the faculty in the college is only average. the teaching method of some teachers is average and there are many skilled teachers also. the main exams are semesterly occurred and moderately difficult.
The eligibility of BSc physics course is to have a mathematics and physics combination in plus two. the whole application process is through online under the official site of Calicut university. there are reservations in the admission process.
I course this microbiology course this course provides high change. In my class, there are 50 students. The faculty are highly educated the teachers are with phd educational qualifications. Classroom teaching is provided. There are 6 semesters in 3 year
It didn't have an entrance exam. We are applying for the course and college. The college is NAAC aggregated college the college has NAAC A grade. The college comes under calicut university (cu). The application form and application fee and application date are in the college. Each course. Contain a particular cut-off mark
Faculty members are average. We have almost 4 faculties to teach 22 students. Most of the faculties are postgraduates. The teaching method is not that good, you can score good marks if you have the calibre to study your own. Exams will never be on time.
Admission was by allotment. To apply for this course we need to apply when they notify us for applying to specific colleges. We get admission based on the marks we get in plus two. Sc and St category has reservations, and they have seats for students who show skill in sports. Application fees were about 150 rupees.
I took this course because I needed a degree in one of the science subjects. Then I did a small research on science subjects life science degree is suitable for me and biochemistry is one of my life science degrees. The student-faculty ratio is about 4:22 .When we talk about the faculties, I have to say most of them are not permanent and will not stay till our portions finish, if they get another good job we will not see them anymore. And most of their teaching method is still from ancient times and it feels sleepy in class. And don't expect the university to conduct exams at regular times. I write my third and fourth sem exams with only one week gap. Passing was not that tough. Anyone with a calibre to learn self can score with good marks.
We can get admission here by either the allotment process by Calicut university or by buying a management seat. SC and ST category students do not need to pay any fees here. We have 6 semesters and in each sem, we need to pay 19500 as sem fees, exam fees and other fees are not included with these. Application form for management seat is available in the college itself. Otherwise, for the allotment process, you can visit the site of Calicut university. Anyone who has studied biology in higher secondary is eligible for this course.
I like botany very much so I selected botany for my graduation from Calicut university. There are so many facilities for my study. The student-faculty ratio is about 30:1. the faculties must have Ph.D. The exam was conducted semester-wise. There are 2-semester exams in a year. It is easy to pass when we study hard.
I applied online on the university's official website. the admission process started for ug courses was 28 July 2014. for application, the student must have studied English, physics, chemistry, and biology at an intermediate level. The minimum range of percentage required for the exam is 50-60%.
The curriculum of the course is very vast. The faculty is also supportive and excellent. Qualification for the course is on the basis of Plus two. it is a 3 years course. Total 6 sem and each sem exam is conducted on 6th month and 12 months of an year
Plus two passes is the eligibility of the course and its admission process is based on plus two percentage. The application fee is 800 for general and 400 for se/St students. Fee Structure And Facilities: Feasible. because our college is an art college. we have all the facilities. at the time of admission, there is a PTA fund
The eligibility of the course was to score above 80 percent in class 12. The application form can be found on the college website and the application fees and application dates are also available on the college website. No reservation benefits I have received.
ABy - AnushkaIn order to be eligible you have to score at least 70 per cent to get admission to cu. The application form can be found on the college website and from there you can fill out the form. I didn't avail of the reservation benefit so no idea. No improvement is needed everything is easy.
VSBy - Vishwajeet SinghThe admission procedure is quite simple at Calicut University and colleges with affliction from the university. Once you completed the 12th then with the transfer certificate and original 12th certificate followed by aadhaar, and TC you can go to any of the colleges for admission. But if you score good marks in 12th through the Calicut university website you can get on the merit list and able to learn free of cost.
