KIIT University is a reputed institute with highly qualified and experienced faculties from various fields of study. The university is known for its academic rigor, emphasis on research, and focus on industry exposure. The studying environment is student-centric, with modern infrastructure, well-equipped laboratories, libraries, and other academic facilities. The university also provides various extracurricular activities, clubs, and events that promote overall development and help students achieve their goals. Unofficial sources report the highest and average packages offered at KIIT are INR 62 LPA and INR 8.5 LPA respectively. Of the 2,800 BTech students, 2,600 have already been placed by top recruiters with 1,100 receiving multiple job offers. Over 250 companies have participated and made 3,600 job offers with 82 companies offering an annual package of more than INR 10 LPA. Notably, 1,500 students were placed in dream companies with an offer of over INR 15 LPA, while 1,100 students received packages between INR 10 LPA and INR 15 LPA. One of my friends had passed out of KIIT University back in 2017, so my answer would be based on whatever input I have received from him. From the Department of Computer Engineering particularly, here is a list of one of the finest teachers present there at KIIT University: Arup Acharya Abhik Gorai (Analog & Digital Signals) Chittaranjan Pradhan (Database Management System) Nachiketa Tarasia (Data Structure) Manas Lenka (Computer Networks) Apart from academics, my friend also gave me an additional list of teachers who will boost your morale and give you great motivation, here are some names: Achyuta Samanta (Founder of KIIT) Lalit Vashishtha Sandeep Chatterjee Prachet Bhuyan In order to judge who exactly is the best, you should observe and decide it for yourself. Ques. Which B.Tech Branch is the best at KIIT Bhubhaneswar in terms of faculty and placements?

KIIT Bhubaneswar has excellent placements and faculties. It’s especially known for the CSE branch and its placements. All the engineering branches see good placements but CSE has a whole other level of placements at KIIT. In terms of placements, CS is the most preferred. Many reputed companies visit the campus placements for recruiting CS students. Students of the CS branch have been performing well in replacements and academics, so definitely some of that credit goes to the faculty. Pursuing ETC can be quite interesting too, but your grads may suffer in the 2nd year as the curriculum includes few tough core subjects like AEC, SD, etc. But if you study well, it can be managed. The faculties are good too. You have to make the most of it. Branches like IT, Mech automobile are also good options. But based on the reviews that I got from my friends at the institute I will suggest CS if you are good at coding. You will have a good ROI, provided you study hard and master the skill needed. Here’s a brief overview of the institute.
