From the 7th semester's end, you can have the opportunity to appear for placements. The core companies are very less to negligible. Technical companies mainly offer job opportunities. The average package differs from 400000-600000 per year based on the department background while the highest is this year, 1015000 per year. There will be 10 -20 students placed from each technical department like CSE, IT, and ECE

Placement Experience:

From 3rd semester students will be eligible for campus placements. I visited many MNC companies like cognizant, LTI etc. The highest package of our college is 15 lpa and the average package is about 5lpa Nearly 95 companies are visiting our campus.

Placement Experience:

College used to bring lots for the company for its students such as IBM, Zoho, delottie, azon and so on. the students are eligible to attend all the drives in their 6 semesters or based on the college they can even get into early.

Internships Opportunities:

Zoho is the best company that offers internships and job offers though it is difficult to crack once if you get into it your life is heaven. And still, lots of other companies also come. they use to really support software projects and no IT students will feel difficult to get into their core company.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible at the 7th semesters for campus placements. TCS, HTC, CTS, Kaar, gavs, etc, I have made 3 offers. The highest package our college gave is 10 LPA. The percentage should be above 60 percent and without standing arrears.

One of my cousins graduated from Pondicherry University. According to him, it is a decent place to study and live but the rest depends on your hard work. Nowadays the student's hard work counts more than what college he is studying. The physics department has a placement cell and it is active at Pondicherry University. Institutes like TIME and other companies need subject experts in physics. They recruit from the university. Campus recruitments at Pondicherry University are less. It depends upon the department. One of my friends graduated from Pondicherry University. Here are some things you need to know about it before making a decision. Pondicherry University is good in terms of infrastructure and facilities. It's a central University and has a very good campus. The faculties are moderate. The placement scenario is not very good at Pondicherry University. Students here are mostly dependent on off-campus placements. My friend got a good rank (read AIR-1) in 2014 but he ended up pursuing it in NIT Durgapur. So think wisely. In general Pondicherry University is a good university. But not fit to meet the requirements of the industry. Better join some other university. In the long run, PU is not a good option. Placements are not up to the mark....Read more
