Chandigarh University B.E/B.Tech admission 2023 is open now. Admissions to the B.Tech program will be granted on the basis of CUCET, an entrance exam conducted by the university. CUCET Phase 1 Exam will be conducted from November 2022 to May 2023. Eligible candidates can apply online on the university’s official website – cucet.cuchd.in.

Chandigarh University offers a B.Tech program with 16 specializations. The university conducts national-level entrance test, CUCET, for admission to B.Tech. The students having valid marks in JEE Main are eligible to apply for B.Tech at CU and are exempted from CUCET. Chandigarh University B.Tech Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for all the specializations except for Food Technology and Biotechnology is different. Below mentioned are the eligibility criteria of CU B.Tech programs:

B.Tech Eligibility (for all specializations): 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and any two of Chemistry/Biotechnology/Computer Science/Biology subjects with minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category). 

B.Tech Eligibility (Food Technology and Biotechnology): 10+2 with Physics as a compulsory subject and any two of Chemistry/Biotechnology/Computer Science/Biology/Mathematics subjects with minimum 50% aggregate marks.

Chandigarh University B.Tech Admission 2023

Admission at Chandigarh University B.Tech is based on CUCET or JEE Main score. The candidates can apply for admission through CUCET by following the steps given below:

Step 1: Register
Sign up or Register for CUCET using your basic information (Name, Email ID, Mobile No., State, Gender, and Password). Your email address will serve as your username for the portal. Create your own password when you register.

If your registration is successful, you will get a confirmation on your given number and email address. Login to your CUCET Account with your Username and Password.

Step 2 - Apply
After creating your CUCET candidate profile, you may proceed to select your examination date. Complete your profile by enrolling into your CUCET account and selecting an examination date that is convenient for you.

Step 3: Submit 
After passing the CUCET, you are eligible for admission to Chandigarh University. Following your CUCET attempt, you will be notified of the outcome, upon which you can apply for admission to B.Tech and receive merit-based scholarships.
