What students say about Amity University

Likes

  • Rituraj Taye Sir is the best faculty of my course, and of course, every teacher is the best. The photography teacher, Mr. Sundeep Kumar, is an experienced faculty in the field of photography.
  • The college internship experience was good, and I also want to inform you that it was not from the colleges side. In fact, we ourselves were struggling to find a good internship.
  • The placement guarantee was excellent, and they managed to give placement to each and every student excellently.
  • If you score well in exams, they offer you a scholarship. Even I was getting 30% of scholarship, which is very good for students.
  • As already stated, the campus is really good and there is a special event called Sangathan for sports.
  • The hostel has very good infrastructure. The wifi facility is also good, and the laundry facilities are available and included in the hostel fee.
  • The college has a great infrastructure with good hostel facilities, but the problem is with the food—its not up to the mark as it should be.

Dislike

  • My college is well known for placements in other branches, but when it comes to law, it is disappointing as there were hardly one or two campus interviews conducted by the college for law student placements.
  • Dont think you will get it in every semester. I already told you this college is expensive.
  • The hostel fee was a lot, but the hostel maintenance was very bad. They charged INR 45,000 per year, excluding the mess.
  • If you want to take admission in another department than CSE, staying here will be a nightmare for you.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen course B.A LLB(Hons) as I wanted to be a lawyer. The faculty-to-student ratio is good as there is a sufficient number of faculties provided for all streams and batches and for various optional papers. The teaching way of faculties is very interactive and understandable and we are provided with various practice assignments to enhance our knowledge. The faculties allotted to us are highly qualified and have specialization in their respective streams and their teaching method involves various creative assignments, tests, workshops, etc that help us for better understanding. During a semester there are mid-sem exams and end-sem exams comprising 15 marks and 50 marks respectively and were more than medium level and have some difficulty in passing.

Remarks:

There was no entrance exam at the time of my admission in 2020. And we can find the application form on their website. I took admitted in the year 2020 at that time there was no application fee(due to the lockdown the fee was waived). I belong to the OBC category and haven't availed of reservation benefits and there are no reservation benefits for the admission process.

Placement Experience:

So placement is good in computer science as I am a 4-year student and there is a dedicated cell for placement training ...there are 300 companies that are enrolled till now IT AND NON-IT Companies all with min 3.5 lakhs. the placement is also 78%+

Remarks:

Admission was smooth no hussle For registration -go to college and get all forms there they will conduct the test and they will call you for joining. Placement Experience:

Placements are good in Amity University in the 5th semester you are eligible for placement. Not required percentages to get placement. After BCA I am going to do an MCA out of India and work in a multi-national company.

Remarks:

A minimum of 45% is required in class 12 for the BCA course and if I talk about the application process we can submit documents on the college website. And the fee is around 130000 per year and after that my admission is done. I don't want to say regarding improvement because it was okay.
