Likes
- The course curriculum is up to date and has an excellent teaching staff. The exams are periodic and are announced well in advance. The faculties are well qualified and trained on industry types of equipment, and the labs are well run and maintained.
- The institute organizes events for student and company interaction to provide the best opportunities for internships, but it doesnt provide any stipends.
- Placements are on the way. Most of the companies came, interviewed, and then they choose the best. I am on the way to higher studies, not so concentrated then and there. I am also appearing for the placements so I can gain experience.
- You also provided a scholarship, and then a job campus interview was also conducted. I was placed in Wipro, so I am very proud to have studied at this college.
- Campus life is at its best. The aesthetic view of the campus will make you feel like you are at one of the best universities in India.
- SRM Hostel is one of the best institutes, where the quality of food is up to the hotel standards, and they provide both AC and non-AC rooms.
- The university is holding all the bounties in its lap. SRM is a perfect piece of perfection in the model of a university.
Dislike
- The exam structure is so bad that one person ends up taking around 50 exams in a semester.
- The companies that come for recruitment usually take the students on the basis of internships and then offer jobs.
- The placement messages in the placement app are very vague, unclear, and tend to have a lot of mistakes. When we try to clarify our doubts, they are rude and do not answer our questions.
- But our JEE Main rank and IPE score would be considered, and the fee would be reduced. However, the college doesnt provide any kind of loan or scholarship.
- There are extracurricular activities like sports and cultural practices, but the sad part is that the college itself doesnt have a sports complex, a field, or an auditorium, which is depressing.
- The hostel was the worst part of the institute: the food is bad, the rooms are worse, and the restrooms are the worst.
- Many suicides happen in college without any reason. It may be due to high fees and low placement, which is the worst situation ever experienced. There is no response from the management and no positive reputation associated with this college.
