NIT Agartala is a government operated technology-driven institute of higher studies. It was established in 2006. NIT Agartala has secured the 70th rank for engineering in NIRF 2019 and 52nd in 2020.

NIT Agartala was founded as Tripura Engineering College in 1965 and declared a National Institute of Technology (NIT) in 2006. NIT Agartala is at 17th while NIT Trichy is at 1st position among all the NIT. There are different parameters on the basis of that ranking will decide. The main factor where NIT Agartala lags is its location. Internships Opportunities:

There are many companies that came for internships some among them were, PayPal, Google, Amazon, Intuit, Reliance, Mathworks, etc. for SDE roles, business development, front-end, back-end, full-stack development, data analyst, etc.

Placement Experience:

At the start of the 4th year company starts to come for placement. There are many companies that have visited some are Amazon, Google, Adobe, Reliance, BHEL, Tekion, Oracle, Infoedge, Infotech, IDFC first bank, Intuit, PayPal etc. The average package of my department is 11lpa. Around 80% studet\nt have been placed.

Internships Opportunities:

Internships are provided by Google, Tekion, Oracle, Nagarro, Mathswork, Deloitte, TCS, HCL etc for software development role. You need to have a very good and strong resume and good projects for the internships.

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements. Many companies visit NIT Agartala like Amazon, Google, Infosys, TCS, Deloitte, HCL, Nagarro, Tekion, Oracle and they provide a very high package of more than 15 LPA. Highest package was 53 Lakhs and average package was 7 lakhs in Software Engineer role. 90 percent students get placed in reputed companies.

Internships Opportunities:

The Internship season starts with the start of the third year i.e. at the start of the sixth semester, a number of companies visit the campus and hire students based on their skills. If done some of the projects in the respective fields particularly in the IT field would benifit.As seen people doing great projects in web development are hired.

Placement Experience:

The placement season begins at the ending of the sixth semester and the beginning of the seventh semester and goes on. A big number of companies approximately 150 in number visit the campus to hire students. The highest placement from EIE this year was 37 LPA and the majority of the students barring one or two were placed.

Internships Opportunities:

It is depending upon the branch. In the IT sector, on-campus internships depend upon branches like CSE, and ECE but it is not like that lower branches are not allowed. They are allowed depending on the company. But the students can try off-campus internships also.

Placement Experience:

For the 7th sem placement season starts. Big companies like Google, Microsoft, Adobe visits, As I remember 65L I guess the highest package in 2021. and 15 L is the average package but depending upon the branch. Almost 90% are placed. My plan is first to get a placement.

Internships Opportunities:

So for the internship companies do offer to the 3rd year students. Companies like Google through gosc and Amazon will let you have the internship if you have that quality in your mindset. Yes, companies from the northeast offer paid internships up to 15-20k per month. Even from the IITs, we get to offer you avail the offer after applying for the internship as we know IITs like IIT madras are ready to recruit students from other Colleges to help in their upcoming projects so yes you will have enough opportunity even for the internships.

Placement Experience:

So about the placements students from the 7th semester are eligible for the interviews and from the end of the 5th semester they are eligible for on-campus internships. And from any year they apply for internships in other colleges and companies. Our seniors help us to get the internship. A lot of companies visit our companies like Amazon, TCS, Infosys, and other big companies they provide very big packages to the students who are skillful+ NIT tag also matters so its east to shine in the interviews. The highest package was for the student from the ECE department it was around 64lpa domestic package. Around more than 80% of students get placed in our college. My plans are clear I want to get a decent job with a good package.

In nit mostly company visit and gives opportunity to students for internship. Some companies like Oracle Bharat petroleum etc. offered internships. But as it is NIT has opportunities.

Placement Experience:

After 6th sem students are eligible for placement. More than 50 companies visit every year like Google, Microsoft, oil India, etc. More than 300 offers were made. The highest package is 42 lakh/annum(Google as Software Engineer) CSE. Average package approx. 8 lakh per annum. 90% of students got placed and some are continuing their studies. After getting a degree, start working as a software engineer.

Internships Opportunities:

Companies like byjus ultratech are the companies that gave an opportunity for an internship. Some internships were online and some were offline. To get this internship have a good relationship with our seniors and make ur coding skills good.

Placement Experience:

From 5 semesters students are eligible for campus placement. Google, Infosys , Netflix, byjus total no of offers made was 224, The highest on-campus placement was 54 lakh and off-campus placement was 2 crore. 90% getting placed.
