Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering) From NIT Manipur, Imphal

B.Tech: For admissions into the B.Tech programme, candidates have to appear for JEE Main and JoSAA counselling.

M.Tech: For admissions into the M.Tech programme, candidates have to appear for the GATE exam which is followed by counselling conducted by the institute.

M.Sc: Candidates are required to appear for JAM entrance exam which is followed by counselling conducted by CCMN for admission.

Ph.D: For admissions into the Ph.D programme:

• Candidates need to download the application form from the official website of NIT Manipur.

• Fill all the details.

• Select the research area.
• Submit the application form.

Documents Required:

• Hardcopy of online payment receipt
• Photocopy of Marksheet/ Grade card of school, higher secondary board and other university examination
• Photocopy of proof of date of birth
• Photocopy of proper category (OBC/SC/ST/PD) certificate from the competent authority
• Form I/II/III in Appendix I
• Two passport size photographs
• Bank Receipt

Candidate must have passed class 12th or equivalent by the AIU or Intermediate or 2-year Pre-University exam conducted by a recognized Board/ University with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subject. Candidate who have passed the Class 12/equivalent examination in 2021, 2022, or those who are appearing in Class 12/equivalent examination in 2023, are also eligible to appear. There is no age limit for the candidates.

NIT, Manipur offers a four-year B.Tech program in five specializations for which admissions are strictly based on JEE Main score followed by centralized counselling (JoSAA) conducted by Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB)
