The fee is probably very high considering an engineering college in India, about 24 lakhs in 4 years. This fee is likely to increase by around 8-10 per cent by every passing year. I am currently a student in the college, however, the average salary offered to the students last year was around 17 lakhs per annum, considering all branches. Only MCN scholarship is allowed in the college which is completely dependent on the family's financial status.
The fee is a lot. The fee hike policy is that they will be increasing the fees between 10-15% every year. All the details about the fees for every academic year will be provided before joining the college.
Fees would be around 2.7 lacs per semester including hostel charges and everything and there's a provision to hike increase fees 10-15 percent yearly. Coming to the scholarship part bits has the most generous aptitude towards it among all colleges in India partly due to its high fees. There are two types of scholarship merit and merit cum need .merit scholarship is given to nearly 1 percent or even low number of people with cgpa cutoff of ~9.2 this one is very hard to get and the second one is merit cum need scholarship whereas if you have family income (mother and father combined pre-tax cut and no deduction) less than 12 lacs you are eligible for it the income limit is revised every year. The cgpa cutoff for the lowest slot (25 percent of tuition fees) for merit cum need scholarship is usually 6 and for 40 percent cgpa cutoff is ~7.3 and for 80 percent cgpa cutoff is ~8.6. most people get 25 and 40 percent scholarships easily if they are sincere towards their studies.
yes, each year they increase the tuition fees in the last year's batch of students by around the 10% increase in fees slab. yes, there are scholarships based on the marks we have scored in the exam and we also can take loans from the banks collide with college.
There is a steep fee hike but fees can be earned back in one to two years so it's fair. Since avg package is high it doesn't feel bad even paying steep fees. I did not/was not eligible for a scholarship or stipend but many students do avail on the basis of merit.
15 percent hike is there every year and the cost to study is a bit expensive. It's around 25 lahks for 4 years. There are a few scholarship programs like MCN and Merit scholarship. There are two internships provided by the college PS1 and PS2.
The fees structure at BITS Pilani varies depending on the program of study and the category of the student. For undergraduate programs, the fees for Indian students are currently around INR 3 lakh per year for the first two years, and INR 3.5 lakh per year for the final two years. The fees for international students are significantly higher, at around INR 10 lakh per year for all four years. BITS Pilani offers a number of scholarships and financial assistance programs to help students meet the costs of their education. These include merit-based scholarships, need-based scholarships, and scholarships for students from economically weaker sections. In addition to scholarships, BITS Pilani also offers a number of loan schemes to help students finance their education. These include education loans from banks and financial institutions, as well as the BITS Pilani Loan Scheme, which is a loan program specifically designed for BITS Pilani students. Any student who completed 12th std and a repeater could sit for the exam BITSAT which is the official entrance examination for entering any BITS institute. I gave the exam on 7th August 2021 in Mumbai. I got 257/450 in the exam and according to the cutoff, I was allotted the Electronics and Instrumentation (ENI) branch after 11 iterations and 2 spot rounds. The admission process was kind of tricky due to the corona situation, but in my opinion, the college handled it pretty well.
PSBy - Priyansh ShrivastavaThe campus is good. The campus environment is good. No reservations. Good avg package. Provides a good environment for the students. The fee is a lot make sure people joining here make full use of what you are paying. There are many clubs. There are single and double-room hostels. All hostel are non-ac.
KHBy - Krishna HarshaFor admission into bits you have to give bitsat which is now held two times a year and the best of two scores would be taken into consideration. after bitsat there are usually 7-8 iterations mostly at the same time with jossa and after that, you will be called into college if you have cleared the cutoff.
