The first year is all about knowing the different domains like marketing, finance, human resources, analytics etc. in detail and one has to choose their majors in the second year. The faculty is highly qualified and teaching is done through PPTs shared by the faculty, We are also provided with books from the college for various subjects. We also have various resources in the library, especially access to Bloomberg. We have mid-terms and end-terms and are fairly competitive.
The course curriculum is very broad and covers the various domains of management. It provides a good amount of knowledge on the subject matter. The faculty members are very experienced and have unique ways of engaging with the students.
The course curriculum is as such that in the first year, we are taught a vast variety of subjects from all domains like finance, marketing, operations, and hr to give a basic understanding of everything that a manager can need to do. The faculty has been very helpful and started from the basics since all students are from different backgrounds. For the second year, we can choose our specialisations and the subjects under that, so we can study in depth what we are actually interested in. We have 3 trimesters in a year and per trimester, we have midterms as well as final exams along with assignments for ICA.
The course at NM Bangalore is quite good. Most of the faculty have done their PHDs. There is an almost equal gender ratio among students. The term exams are conducted timely and it is not that difficult to pass them if you pay attention in class.
NMIMS Bangalore has excellent faculty having full-time corporate experiences because of which they can bring their real-time experiences to the classroom. Faculties teach through a case-based curriculum which helps a student get a taste of actual field problems. The term exams and the mid-term examinations are really helpful for a person to improve and understand where each one is lacking and usually, there is one set of mid-term and one set of end-term that students have to appear for in 3 months. It might seem frequent but it helps in scoring an overall good credit score for each student. Faculties are always present for doubt clearing.
The course curriculum is holistic and involves subjects like marketing, HRM, finance, and operations. Teachers make sure that we understand what's being taught and that we get industry knowledge too. The campus is also great.
The course structure of Nmims Bangalore is in line with the industry and the faculties are also Very experienced and the syllabus is also challenging. We have students from different educational backgrounds so it is also a great learning experience.
We have 45% females n 54% males in our batch. total batch size is 150 and the faculty here is really really experienced. they share real-life case studies n examples in the class which help us to learn more
MBA opens opportunities to work with renowned businesses and also grooms one as a person. The student: teacher ratio is 10:1. Faculty is very experienced and helpful. Term-end exams happen every 4 months and are easy to pass
The curriculum is good. Courses and electives and interesting to choose from. No bondation on the selection of electives. The college is in the silicon valley of India that is Bengaluru which is a major advantage. The teachers here have been great with us. They have taught us more than which was required.

Students have to appear for NMAT which is specially organized by NMIMS University and different campuses have different cutoffs for NMAT. Once a student is eligible for a campus, he/she has to sit for 2 rounds of interviews usually, the GD round or a written test on an impromptu topic and an interview round. Students are marked accordingly and sent an offer letter. Any student having a UG degree in any course is eligible to apply and the application form is released by the university in around August followed by which NMAT starts which happens on different dates until January.
SCBy - Sampurna ChakrabortyFor the admission process, I took Nmat and got 231. I then applied for nmb. There was a written round, SOP, and personal interview round. The application process was quite smooth. No reservation benefits are availed.
SBBy - SOUMYA BISHNOII filled out an application form for the NMAT exam from the nmims University website by registering there first. Then I filled out an application for the admission to university and selected what campuses I want to apply to. After preparations, I gave the NMAT exam and got selected for the interview by clearing the cutoff for the Bengaluru campus. A couple of weeks after the interview I got selected and paid the fees within one week and got admitted to the college. The whole process was very well defined and smoothly took place and all queries were resolved quickly from their portal.
