What students say about Siksha 'O' Anusandhan University - [SOA]

Likes

  • The placements from this college are the best part of this college.
  • Here campus facilities, library facilities, transport facilities, food facilities are very good.
  • Placement options are very good in soa 90 percent students are placed
  • Campus life is very amazing with the infrastructure being best in class.
  • Campus free of ragging and perfect building college class room are perfect
  • Enviorment is very good here ..you will be feel very comfortable
  • The placement opportunities and the career guidance provided by the college is quite good.

Dislike

  • The course is very bad and uninteresting; the teachers are too boring. Think twice before taking admission.
  • I am unaware of the current stipend structure, as I am from the 2008 engineering batch.
  • The placement package is not quite satisfactory, and the internship was also done by yourself. No help was provided by your college, and there was no accommodation provided by the college either. If you maintain a CGPA of 8.0 in 12th grade, you will receive a stipend, but the process is very slow and delayed.
  • The annual fee is 235,000, which is given in installments. The books are available in the library; I can get them there. There are no festive sports or any activities done. The college is boring. In the one-year group, there are people you will get to know.
  • It provides a high-quality hostel at a very low price that is affordable even for a poor family.
  • The only bad things in our college are that the campus is not a wifi zone and the garden is very dirty.

Placement Experience:

The placements at my colleagues are quite good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. In the past, a number of top companies have visited the campus, including Amazon, Microsoft, and IBM. The number of offers made by these companies varies from year to year, but it is usually around 50-60 offers. The highest package offered by these companies is usually around INR 40 Lakhs per annum, and the average package is around INR 7 Lakhs per annum. The profiles offered by these companies include software development, data analysis, and machine learning. Around 80% of the students in my batch were able to secure placements through campus recruitment, which is a great record. As for me, I plan to pursue a Master's degree in Computer Science abroad after completing my undergraduate degree. I believe that this will provide me with the knowledge and skills I need to excel in my career and achieve my professional goals.

Remarks:

The admission process for the computer science engineering program at my university was fairly straightforward. To be eligible for the program, applicants were required to have passed their higher secondary examinations with a minimum aggregate of 60% in mathematics, physics, and chemistry. The application forms were available on the university's official website, and the application fee was Free The application dates were announced on the website, and the deadline for submitting the forms was typically around June.

Placement Experience:

ITER provides an average package of 7 lakhs. And almost each and every student gets placed in ITER. Dream companies like Microsoft, and Amazon also visit our campus for recruitment along with providing internships.

Remarks:

For getting admission to BTech (CSE) you need to have a minimum of 60% in both 10th and 12th. After that, you have to fill out the form and appear for the SAAT exam. You can also apply for your Btech branch through your JEE rank. If you go for the SAAT exam then your rank will decide which branch you will be given.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Here you can get your course according to your marks and choice if you wish to take CSE, your marks should be good in the saat exam or jee rank you should have 80 percentile. The faculty is good and supportive. You can ask them doubt by going to their cabin also. They are free they will tell you. In one semester there are 2 exams mid sem and end sem. Exams are of the medium level if you focus on class then definitely you can score an 8 cgpa by just reading in classes.

Remarks:

The admission process is easy you can take admitted here by giving the saat exam after qualifying saat exam you can take admitted here also by your jee rank you can also take admission here. There are various courses like computer science, civil, electrical, etc. I found the application form from the website and filled it in and given saat exam and got a 323 rank and got admission to CSE B.Tech. This college is good if you are thinking to take admission you can apply. Your 10th 12th mark sheet photocopy is needed as also your migration certificate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have intersected in computer, coding, and technology. Its curriculum is well good and the faculty members are so cooperative. Here faculty ratio to the students is approx 1: 20 which is good according to other private colleges. Here most every faculty is Ph.D. qualified and their teaching method is so practical. Exams are done with due time as after 1 - 1.5 months after the semester starts they take the midterm exam and after 1.5-2 months take the end sem exam. Exams are medium-level.

Remarks:

The admission process is quite simple. You are selected based on your rank in SAAT Exam or JEE Mains Exam. The course is eligible is that you should get at least 60% in 10th and 12th. You can find application process details on SOA Site. Now its fee is Rs 255000/-. You can apply in Sept. - Oct. through jee mains and SAAT. There are no reservation benefits in the process of admission. As the year changes competition gets tough.

Placement Experience:

College claims to provide placement to each and every student who enrolled here. But we all know it's not practically possible. Every year around 85-90% of students get placed. Most of the placements happen in the CSE department. Also, students from other departs can sit in for the IT companies. The highest package offered till now is 55 lakh rupees here at ITER. Last year in 2022 11 students got placed in Microsoft from this college. There were also times when companies like Amazon just visited IIT Bhubaneswar, NIT Rourkela and ITER for placement drives. Many top companies like Amazon, Google, HighRadius, Delloite, Cognizant, Adobe, IBM Mahindra and Mahindra, Virtusa, Flipkart etc visit the campus for placement during the placement drive. The average package in ITER is around 4 lakh 50 thousand rupees, the highest being around 40 lakhs. Most of the students get placed here in mass recruiter companies like High Radius and Deloitte.

Remarks:

To get admitted into the Institute of Technical Research and Education i.e. ITER a student needs to have at least 50 percent marks in his class 12th or +2 as the case may be. He/She can get admission in this SOA Deemed to be University College by the University Entrance Exam viz SAAT or through JEE Mains result. The fee for B.Tech four years course is 940000 or 235000 per year. You can also split the money into 2 or 3 halves and pay. Mostly the admission process starts in the month of August or September. You can get the admission details on the official SOA website and can also fill out the form which is given on the website. ITER which comes under SOA Deemed to be University is one of the best Colleges in the Field of Engineering and Research in the whole of India. It was also awarded the Best University for research in the whole of Asia. I only improvement I want to see in the admission process is that parents can have the option to easily communicate with the college.

Placement Experience:

Placement is good in our college. At last, everyone will get placed in college not one is left with no placement. There is no restriction to seat in placement. You can get placement by just practicing code questions.

Remarks:

You can come here by giving the SAAT exam and also you can come here on your JEE marks you have to give SAAT exam and according to that you will get a branch most probably if you will take care branch, there will be a chance of more good placement.
