The course is of 5.5 years, comprises 4.4 years of studying and and 1 year of mandatory internship. There is a total of 19 subjects that are taught to us in 4.4 years. It needs very hard work and dedication to study. We need to be very punctual with clinical postings also.
Entry to the college is directly based on the NEET exam score. The NEET exam takes place once every year having a maximum of 720 marks and 180 questions. We need to score above the 50 percentile and to get a seat in this college we need at least 600 marks. And different categories have different marks. Like sc, the category can get a seat with 100 marks lesser than General category students.
From childhood I was very fond of becoming a doctor That's why I chose this profession. The teachers here are very talented and they teach about a subject very thoroughly. faculties are qualified as MBBS, MD, and other great degrees. RGUHS conducts a University exam every year. Actually, it's very difficult to pass the exam.
I wrote my NEET exam and got some good marks. After that, I applied for the counseling process. There were some eligibility criteria. I found the application form on Google. I had rural, Kannada medium, reservations. The process was very good.
The passion in medicine and serving people in the field of health is what made me choose this profession. For every 20-25 students there is 1 faculty available in our premises. They have an amazing teaching method where along with timely examination conducted there are various assignments and encouragement for research given by them. I feel with what the faculty instruct and teaches, timely self-study it makes easy for students to score good marks.
The eligibility for mbbs is the requirement for qualifying for the NEET examination. The admission process is done through KEA through the process of counseling followed by seat allotment. There will be 3 rounds followed by a mop-up round through which we are allotted the medical seat based on the marks and rank we secure in our NEET examination.
I chose this course because of my interest in this field. The faculty is good. The college is almost 60 years old. So the faculty we get here are almost senior most professors who are experts in their respective fields.
This college has more seats for HK region students under article 371J. This college is chosen mostly by HK region students. So people in the HK region mostly benefitted. And this year 50 more seats have been added.
We have internals once in around 3 months and we have yearly final exams. The average of the three internals is added to the final marks to declare the results. The exams are of average difficulty. Not too difficult to pass.
You have to pass the 12th and then write the NEET exam to qualify for the MBBS course. The cut-off for my college is around AIR 9000 this year. You have to go through the kea admission process to get a seat in this college or through the India quota. The fees for college are 71000 for the first year and 54000 thereafter. The admission process is time-consuming so it should be reduced.

AbBy - Anil balutiMinimum 75% percentage in required in 10th and 12th classes. 50% mark is required in biology, chemistry and physics separately. I have given the neet exam and got qualified through counselling. It is one of the top universities for medical students.
