I chose this course because there is an opportunity in this field and the placement is also good.
They frame students by assigning projects and tasks in the field, enabling them to secure internships with reputable companies.
The placement of the college is very good. From the 6th semester, students are eligible to get placed.
I dont think Chitkara University provides any kind of scholarship for students, regardless of caste.
College clubs or committees organize decent fests, which have a good frequency, such as more than one or two per month. Almost all kinds of books are available in the college library. The infrastructure of the college is excellent.
Chetna and Vikas Kuleshwar, who are teachers of oops and handle hostel registration, provide affordable accommodation. The quality of the meals here is quite good. We also receive food samples to ensure hygiene is maintained as a top priority.
Many of my seniors had studied at this university. They also prefer it for my graduation.

Dislike

In computer science, the fees are 82000 per semester, and the hostel fees are 50000 per semester. The only downside is that Chitkara University does not offer any scholarships, and there are numerous fines here as well.
There are 45 girls hostels in which the food at Ibn Mess is so poor.
Board is eligibility criteria. I found this on the website of Chitkara University. No, I dont have any reservation benefits because I am general. There must be fewer students.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placement in the 4th year and various companies visit the campus such as Goldman Sachs and Tata. Most of the students get placed according to the level of skill they hold. The highest package is around 36lac/yr

Remarks:

The admission process was based on the addmission criteria of 60% in the 12th PCM +JEE MIAN score or 80% in PCM in the 12th class. Application forms can be found at the campus office at Chitkara University Punjab or Himachal Pradesh

Chitkara University - A heaven for study

Placement Experience:

The placements start from the 6th/7th semester. Many big tech companies like Flipkart, amazon, and google bajaj visit the campus. The placement rate is high and students get a good jobs. The offers made the previous year were around 9-11 LPA. The highest package went was nearly 1 crore. The placement rate is about 90% which is very good. I plan to get a job and start studying for my MBA.

Remarks:

Since I was in the covid batch, entrance examinations were halted. My placements happened through my 12th percentile. Otherwise, the placements happen through an entrance test conducted by the college itself. The website of the college is pretty self-explanatory and easy to navigate for anyone trying to know about or apply to the college.

Placement Experience:

Yes companies do visit often and students get placed, it's 100% placement for those who have 7.5+ cgpa, the highest package I know is around 24-26 LPA and the lowest is I guess around 2-3 lpa in mass recruitment.

Remarks:

There was eligibility that person should have PCM in 11th or 12th and the percentage should be above 75, application forms are available online fees and everything mentioned there, the only improvement I want to see is that college could contact us more and provide details, online details aren't enough sometimes.

Life at Chitkara University

Placement Experience:

For 3 years students are allowed to sit for interviews. So many companies arrive at Chitkara University including Google, Microsoft, Accenture etc. The highest package receieved was 1 cr+ and the average package is 7-8 lakh 100% I plan pursue my master at Chitkara University

Remarks:

60% in class 12th Application forms and fees are available on the university website. No need for improvement it's perfect. It provides a very fast and interactive approach to admission making it easy and convenient for both parents and students alike

All over the review is good. There is the best infrastructure and architecture of the university and also the faculty members are much cooperative.

Placement Experience:

3rd Year. TCS, Goldman Sach, Infosys, Apollo, Parexel. The average package starts from 3.3 LPA to 8 LPA. The highest package is 40LPA. Above 70% of students are eligible to take all company's placements exams and it depends upon the interview which company chooses which criteria. I want to go for a job at Microsoft(my dream company).

Placement is good in my university from 6th sem onward a student is eligible for sitting in placement and the average package is 6-7 lakhs there is 100% placement and their salary depends on their interview
