Campus life is decent with good academic and extracurricular activities. Social networking can easily be done at Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute because of clubs such as E-cell, and FSW Griet, which are run by students. Every year a fest named Pragnya is organised, it's an extracurricular event, and once in 4 years, Pulse is conducted. More than 500 books and 300 journals are available in the college library. Each class is equipped with a projector, and basic equipment like fans, tube lights and benches. Sports events are conducted once in 2 months. But students are allowed to play anytime after 2 pm a day.
Festa Pragnya: Nove - dec Spectra::aig--spetember --->in the library they all types of books for students for free ---->there is a projector, fans , and benches provided in classrooms ---->Student union conducts the tournament for cricket, volleyball, chess tennis and the college administration also support them financially ---->there is no official page for students but there are many Instagram pages maintained by students like(grietsportsclub, Grenada, griettrolls)
RUEDO is the Annual fest which happens once a year every March. And pragnya technical fests happen every November. Every classroom has a projector screen for better teaching and understanding. There is a big library for all the students from different courses which has an ample number of books. There is one big cricket ground in the college. There is one Instagram page griet_official to represent the college.
The hostel facility is not available for boys. it is available for girls but it is not on the campus outside the campus bus facility is there for them. But most of the students will. join private hostels near JNTU. Many hostels are available in JNTU
In this college, fests are very rear, but there are many student clubs like rhythms, IEEE, spices, etc to conduct the fests. IEEE conducts a fest called prajna which is a technical and nontechnical event. Rythyms conduct cultural fests like SPECTRA, and PULSE. PULSE is the biggest event in this college which is held for 7 days.
Life in GRIET is average, there are many student clubs in GRIET but there is a very less number of fests or technical events conducted every year. The biggest fest is pragnya and pulse. Books are available in the library.
The overall fee cost two lahks per annum. our college has a big library and you can easily publish journals if you are interested. sports are very rare and you can't see any fests happening over here as have many student bodies.
Life on campus some what boring as it has only lectures and lectures if you want to enjoy it will be tougher on this campus, u have to choose either study or fun, and student clubs are also there like aac IEEE, etc. Which are very good and core. fests are very less. In one sem u can see only one fest.
Fests are very less when compared to other colleges. you should not expect any events to happen regularly but events are being conducted in a good way even though they are fewer In number. there are different student bodies which will add up to your resume.
College life is good. Our college is too strict. There are lot many rules and restrictions in the college like the opposite gender shouldn't interact much, prohibition of mobile phones, etc. The classrooms are good. The library is decent with many books and a Wi-Fi facility is available. Sports are not up to the mark. When it comes to fests, we have Pragya a technical fest, and spectra a cultural fest every year. They are good and engaging.
There are no hostel facilities for boys but there is a girls' hostel I think it is good it is just 2km away from the college I saw the girls' hostel from outside it is pretty good nice surroundings and a good environment to study.
Spectra student festival and the pagan fest will conduct every year. The availability of library books is good. Sports and social clubs will conduct every year with other colleges and in selection activities.
The admission process was based on the EAMCET exam rank. Clearing the EAMCET exam and studying till the 12th class is the eligibility for admission. Applications can make by attending counselling process, the process is of 3 rounds, one can try all these rounds to secure admission in his dream college. It takes almost 2 months for the process, it would be better if the admission process is quick. I secured admission to Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute, where I got 6894 ranks. And the cutoff was 7200 for Ece. It varies according to the college.
CRBy - Cheedu Venkat Sahith ReddyIam a diploma student after completion of my diploma I attempt the entrance test i.e ECET at the time of iam attempted test there are total 30000 and cutoff marks is almost 90 marks out of 200 there are total of 12 seats in our college for the EEE branch and a I got seat under BC-D reservation (there must be reservation benefits), the admission process is extra good
VBy - VenkateshI applied to my college through eamcet. We need to check with the admission team for the application dates. After that, we need to go to the college to fill out the application form provided by them. we need to pay for the application fees. we can discuss the reservation benefits with them if there are any. I felt like it would be better if there are more technical events conducted.
