- In Jabalpur Engineering College, the faculty members were incredibly awesome and helpful to the students. We have 8 semesters, with each semester lasting for 6 months.
- There are quite a number of companies/startups that visit for providing internships, and they also provide a good stipend to the students.
- Placement is fully dependent on the TPO office, and we have obtained the best head to lead the TPO division.
- Jabalpur Engineering College is the cheapest and best government college for pursuing a B.Tech degree in Madhya Pradesh.

- Though I was not a part of the hostel, I always heard from my colleagues that the hostel facility is very good and enjoyable.
- It is one of the best colleges in Madhya Pradesh and also the oldest college.
Dislike
- The experience was not good in the beginning due to a lack of some faculties in my branch.
- Placement and job opportunities in this institute are not very good as mainly the companies of CSE and IT come. Core companies of various other branches do not come in abundance. The average stipend is 3.
- It is a government college that the MP government provides scholarships for through the Mukhyamantri Medhaavi Chatra Yojana. This program is organized for poor students who are unable to pay the fees of this college.
- Classrooms are very bad. They get filled with a lot of water in the rainy season, and there are no coolers or AC.
- Most of the students in the hostel belong to very low-capital income. Additionally, the mess in the hostel is not good. They are private and charge high fees for lunch and food. The food quality is well below average.
- Our college should have a strict, time-bound academic calendar that they should follow, as it will not pressurize the students to complete their internships and the admission process for higher studies.

6th and 8th-semester students become eligible for campus placement. TCS and etc. So many companies visited here. The highest package is 12 lakh to 25 lakh and the average package is 3 lakh to 5 lakh. CSE branch 80% of students get placement
