I am pursuing EE (Electrical Engineering) from UEC. I have no doubt that there is a very good faculty for studying and a well-equipped laboratory for practicals.
Yes, we have a lot of internship opportunities in this college. They provide good guidance and support to us.
Placements are much better than those of all private institutions and even some government institutes in Madhya Pradesh.
The yearly fee of the MTech course is 22301, and gate students receive a stipend of 12400 per month. So basically, it is a very good opportunity for students.
Labs are good in all departments; the devices and machines are sufficient for students to practice and gain knowledge about the subject. The timetable includes at least 2 days a week for each lab so that everyone can have access to tools.
I dont know about the hostel because I live in a paying guest room, but rumors say that the hostel is very good, and there is also good unity among the boys in the mess.
Equipped with the best faculty and state-of-the-art infrastructure, it is a dream college for an engineering aspirant.

Dislike

Placements are the only department where I think our college is lagging behind compared to private colleges.
The campus of our college is very old, and we are not satisfied with the infrastructure of the college building. However, the civil branch lab is equipped with high-tech instruments, which we find impressive.
Hostels are not good. Most of us used to stay outside the college hostel. PGs rent is feasible; the average fee is 4000 per month, including room rent, mess, electricity, and water.
The canteen of that college was the worst, as it had very few things.

If you are capable than only go for UEC, (no spoon feeding)

Placement Experience:

For college 7 semester students is eligible for campus or it can vary according to company preference too. From 2022 till now denso, maxpro, caresoft, shaip, coromandal, shaktipump, jk cement etc. The highest package offered till is 7 lakh after 1 year of the job. Because few companies take candidates as GET For mechanical 20 students are placed from 70 and for CS it is highest and for EC too. My plan is to go for higher studies. (MBA)

Remarks:

Every student should have PCM in 12th and should have a current year JEE mains scorecard. Application for government or private engineering college of Madhya Pradesh is done through MP-DIRECTORATE OF TECHNOLOGY EDUCATION, where you have to do choice filling and colleges are allocated to you in accordance to your Jee mains score. You definitely get reservation benefits and also after admission in terms of post-Matrix scholarship. The important thing a student should remember while doing choice filling is that he/she should take help from someone who had already been doing engineering through DTE colleges because most students do mistakes while choosing to fill.

UECU is the best place where you can begin your engineering journey

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements as and when they reach to 7th Semester, they can prepare and go for the campus selection process organized by various tech corporates. The average package offered nowadays is 5 lac per annum.

Remarks:

The admission process was held through a centralized process of MP online via counseling. College is spread over a 200-acre area where you find separate buildings for each department having labs that are very well maintained. The college has a training and placement department that helps students prepare for the upcoming campus selection process. TPO head is very humble and works in favor of students' future only.
