Course Details

Loreto College offers admission to M.A (English) to the candidates with Honors Degree in English with 50% marks or equivalent CGPA from a recognized university. 60% of the total available seats will be filled on the basis of merit while 40% of seats will get filled through combined marks in university examination and admission test.

60% i.e.15 of the total number of seats is reserved exclusively for current year students of Calcutta University (CU) and CU affiliated autonomous colleges.
40% i.e. 10 of the total number of seats is reserved for the following:
- Non-CU candidates of the current year and immediately preceding year.
- CU candidates of immediately preceding year.
