I choose B.Com (Hons) as I want to have a career in finance and consulting. One professor teaches a class of around 60 students at SRCC. I am quite happy with the teaching method of the teachers as they teach through books and PPTs. In 1st semester, we had to complete the syllabus of six months in three months so it was difficult for students but overall the exam's difficulty level was mediocre.
I gave CUET entrance exam for the admission process of Delhi University. The eligibility criteria of B.Com (Hons) were based on the commerce background. The application form is available on the official website of CUET. Application fees is affordable for all. The application dates was 2 months after my board exams so I had sufficient time to study for the exam.
Students become eligible for placements from the 2nd year. The percentage of students getting placed is not in my knowledge but we have generally 700 offers. The average package is 900000 whereas the highest package is 30L.
I got admission through CUET. I scored 766 and got admission through the EWS category even though the general cutoff for general students was 780. Improvements can be more tough exams and better planning before conducting the exam.
My course is b.com hons and I chose it as I am interested in finance and consulting. I want to do further studies in finance and consulting in the future. The exams were a bit difficult and very lengthy.
I gave the CUET entrance exam. My course is BCom (hons) and it’s eligibility criteria is the student should have passed class 12th. The application form could be easily found on the official CUET website. The entrance exam fees were affordable for everyone.
Being a commerce student I was interested in commerce as a subject as I was academically inclined and want to get a phd in my future in this field. The faculty is really great and best at their forte. 10 teachers effectively maintain 40 students.
The admission process was simple. We had to register ourselves under the central university initially and then wait for the education boards to release our results. Colleges were allotted to students according to the cut-offs of different colleges.
From the 5th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. There are many companies visited including big 4s, Mecenzy, bain and brain, public sector companies also. The highest package is around 32 lpa and avg is 8.5 lpa 80-90% of students get placement. My plans after my degree are to complete CA
Any student having maths subject in class 12 was eligible for both the courses i.e Bcom Hons and BA Hons. The application process was online. I took admission under the OBC category so my cutoff was lower than that of General Category.
The placement cell placed almost 80-90% of students who apply for placements. The highest salary package offered this year is 35LPA and the average is 13.25LPA. Top companies participated in the recruitment process are Microsoft, Delloite, KPMG, EY, PWC, GT, BDO, BCG, HUL, HCL, American express, JP Morgan, JSW. The college also conduct Articleships drives for students who want to join Articleships firm for persuing CA.
During my time, admission was given based on a cutoff given by the college based on the 12th percentile. However, now the days CUET exam is conducted based on which cutoffs are provided by colleges. You can fill out the application form on the website of Delhi University and the dates are after the result. I availed the benefit of the EWS category reservation. During my time the 1st cutoff of our college was 99% for general, however, it was 98% for the EWS category.
B.Com(Hons) has fields including accounts, law, and taxation which are necessary for any commerce student. There are 50 to 60 students in 1 class and there are 7 subjects. Faculties are aptly qualified and experienced in teaching.
CUET was the entrance exam which one has to give for getting into Delhi University. Cueat Samarth's website can be used for finding information. Fees are not very high around 1200. The dates of exams should be released earlier than what was at our attempt
Our College Placement cell is really fabulous as we get internship opportunities in the second year of college and in the final sem various companies like Big4's, TCS etc. visit our campus for recruitment and our last Year's first phase Highest placement stands at 35LPA and Average being 13.25LPA.
The admission process is simple you have to register for CUET and need to score of more than 99.5%ile to get into SRCC. Then you have to register for the CSAS portal on the DU website and after that, you will allocate college on the basis of your CUET score.
In the 5th sem students become eligible for placements with no backlogs. The college provides more than decent placement offers ranging from 6 lakhs to 32 lakhs from every prominent company like Bain, Deloitte, PWC, EY, Deutsche bank, ICICI bank, etc. Almost 90% of students get placed who are interested in this. I also got myself placed in ICICI bank this year only with a package of 9 lakhs.
My admission was on the basis of class 12th results of my best four subjects including one language subject and one compulsory maths subject. all the forms were available on the website of the University of Delhi and admission was made through cutoffs in online mode through the university's website only. I was an OBC candidate so I got a benefit of just 1 or 2 % in cutoffs when compared with that of general.
Commerce was a no-brainer for me. I had always been inclined towards these subjects in school and had my mind to pursue higher education in them too. The course is like a culmination of several disciplines. This is also its drawback - it lacks the specialization that is called for when you sit for jobs.
The admission process in my time was fairly simple. We had to calculate the marks in our top 5 subjects, which necessarily included English and feed it into the website, which notified us about which colleges' cutoffs we cleared. Sea changes have been incorporated into the system now, with the advent of CUET and the like - only juniors can shed better light upon that.
The cutoff for the college was declared on the basis of marks scored in class 12th boards. The college application process was the same as the DU admission process where students apply through the DU website. Now, the admission criteria have changed to CUET Entrance exams.
SJBy - Sarthak JhaThe admission process was that there was a CUET entrance exam and then based on the scores and preferences, students would get into the college they were eligible for. The entrance exam was 2 months after the 12th board exams so there was sufficient time to study.
SOBy - Saji OberoiFirstly we had to register with the DU portal and enter our preferences, our marks, our proofs of adress, caste, existence etc. they ask for your Adhar Card, Caste certificate, TC, merit certificates, 10-12 Marksheet, Photos, Electricity bill/pan bill etc., All self attested. Then we had to pay the minimal registration fee of about 200-300 rupees. With each subsequent cutoff, i got better college. I started with South campus, then KMC, then Hindu, and finally after the 4 cutoff, I got into SRCC. For BA Honors in Economics, to get into SRCC for Scheduled Caste Candidates, the fourth cut off was 96.5% and which was exactly equivalent to my cut off. Then I had to go to the portal again, withd
