Internship Opportunities

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because of the placement opportunities that it offers. The faculty that is currently present is well-qualified, and the faculty-student ratio is also great. The exams were fairly easy to pass.

Class Size : 45Course Fees : INR 70000 per year

Remarks:

The admission process was easy as all the necessary details were available on the college site. The entrance exam I took was KMAT (Kerala Management Admission Test). The application form will be available on the official site.

MBA from one of the earliest and prestigious B schools in country

Placement Experience:

The placements are excellent compared to peer-level institutes in the state. The highest package has crossed 15 lac per annum. Eighty to ninety percent of the students get placements, and most of them bag more than a single offer as well.

Remarks:

In 2009 ,CUSAT had a common admission test for admission purposes. Basic eligibility graduation with minimum 55% marks . School of Management studies, CUSAT is one of the oldest B schools in the country, with more than 50 years of academic excellence and legacy.

Life at SMS????

Placement Experience:

Placements begin at the end of the second semester and continue till the last semester. The past recruiters include - Amazon, IOAG, Asian Paints, Federal Bank, Cipla, Honda, DHL, FedEx, EY, Cognizant, Agape, KPMG, Oracle, IBM, Oyo, Nestle, Larsen and Toubro, Synthite, Pepsico, HUL and many more. The highest package offered last year was 20 lakhs by Khimji Ramdas.

Remarks:

Eligibility - A valid score in KMAT (2022 cut-off was somewhere around 360), CMAT (above 80 Percentile would be good), CAT (same as CMAT). It is important that you also perform well in your Group Discussion and Personal Interview Session in order secure admission to SMS, and CUSAT; as high marks in your qualifying exams alone wouldn't grab you a seat. Be alert about the application form, as SMS is one of the colleges that conclude their application received process much earlier. SMS - The best non-IIM management college in Kerala

Placement Experience:

Students can appear for the placements from third semester onwards and those continue till end of 4th semester. More than 70% of students get placed every year. Average package is 9 LPA and highest package offered till date is 30 LPA. I am on Sabbatical from TCS and I plan to go back unless I get a better offer

Remarks:

Graduation from a recognised university with 50% or more marks A valid score in CAT,CMAT or KMAT Close to 1000 students will be shortlisted for GD and Interview and close to 150 students will be selected(30 Part time) in the end. There are many reservation criterias. More details will be available in CUSAT or SMS website

The track record of placement is very good. All the placement activities are coordinated by a student representative. Training for Interviews Test and group discussion are provided. Campus selection starts in the 3rd semester. Prominent recruiters are HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Federal Bank Companies Kellogs, DHL, EY

The first candidate needs to appear for CAT, CMAT or KMAT (Kerala) Candidates need to register for CUSAT CAT portal Shortlisted candidates will get called for GD and an interview. Admission on the basis of Candidate performance.

SMS a dream College

Placement Experience:

There are plenty of placement opportunities that come to the campus every year. The one that came recently was Khimji Ramdas, Kellogs, DHL, and so on. Many of my seniors got placed with the sum of CTC, news that overjoyed us all.

Remarks:

I had actually attended cmat that was conducted in the month of March 2022. I had a wholesome score of 199 there and applied in this college for admission purposes. The course application and other details were published in the news paper. Upon receiving this information I had applied for the same and secured my admission through a proper screening of GD and interview.
