Ques. What is the difference between KCET and COMEDK Counselling?

Ans. Although the procedures involved in both the counselling are similar, they still vary in terms of the process. In KCET, students need to get their document verified as the first step. Upon successful verification, students need to register themselves for the counselling and then they have to proceed to fill the choice after which seat allotment is done. Finally, they have to pay the fee for accepting the seat.

Whereas, the counselling process for COMEDK starts with registration and payment of partial tuition fee payment in advance. Post payment, applicants have to fill the choice and mock seat allotment is done. And, the process ends with document verification as the last step.

Admission:

I took an entrance exam that is kcet and I got around 40k rank in it. In the kcet, 2 phases of reservations will be there is a rural quota. Those who studied in rural schools get a reservation for rural quota. And those who studied in Kannada medium get kannada medium quota. In total 20 percent of reservations.

I joined the college through K-CET my ranking was 35k. I applied for both cs and ec but ec was allowed due to low ranking, I am happy with what I got. you can join college through COMED K, KCET, management offer a few seats. I was a general merit student no reservation was availed.
