Dalmia College, a premier college of Sundargarh was established in 1970 and it is affiliated to Sambalpur University. It provides teaching facilities up to degree stage in Arts, Science and Commerce. During the thirty seven years of its existence the college has provided higher education to the poor and needy students of the locality. It is recognized by UGC. The college has been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation (NAAC) with B grade.
