  • AILET Entrance Exam for LLM is expected to have a duration of 1 hour and 30 minutes, with a total of 50 MCQ-based questions and 2 descriptive questions . 
  • Candidates are awarded 1 mark for each correct answer and 0.25 marks are deducted for each incorrect answer.
  • The exam is conducted only in English.
  • Qualifying candidates are invited for counselling, through which admissions for various law programs are conducted.

  • Law of Contract - It prescribes the law relating to contracts in India and is the key act regulating Indian contract law.

Ans: AILET LLM Exam 2022 is conducted as objective-type multiple-choice question papers. Candidates are required to be aware of the exam pattern so as to attend the exam with ease.

Ques. Are any specializations offered for DU LLM?

Ans. No specific specializations are offered for DU LLM. Candidates are required to have passed their undergraduate studies in law to attempt admissions to the program. 

Ques. What is the total number of seats at DU for LLM through AILET 2023?

Ans. There are 73 seats for LLM 2 Year and 64 seats for LLM 3 Year in Delhi University. Admissions to the seats are mainly given through AILET Entrance Exam

Ques: What are the different LLM programmes that Faculty of Law offers through AILET 2023?

Ans:There are three kinds of LLM programmes in Delhi University offered through AILET 2022. One is two (2) years LL.M. Programme and another is three (3) years LL.M. programmes. There is also a 3 year Master in Comparative Law (MCL) Degree Programme to foreign students.

Ques. Is there any negative marking for AILET LLM 2023?

Ans. For each incorrect answer 0.25 marks will be deducted accordingly. According to which, for every 4 incorrect answers, candidates will lose 1 mark.

Ans. As per the number of aspirants for both exams, the competition for AILET is tougher. According to exam paper analysis as well, AILET was deemed to be more tougher than CLAT. This may be due to the number of applicants per year.
