AILET 2023 Syllabus: NLU Delhi has released AILET Syllabus for BA LLB and LLM Program on its official website- nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. As per recent changes, AILET Question Paper for BA LLB now includes three sections- English Language, Logical Reasoning, and Current Affairs/ General Knowledge. AILET 2023 Syllabus for LLM program had been modified and includes 2 sections- Section A will consist of objective-type questions from English Language and Legal Reasoning, while Section- B comprises of DescriptIve Questions. AILET Syllabus includes topics like Law of Contracts, Law of Torts, Criminal Law, Constitutional Law, and Legal Theory for the LLM Program. In AILET LLM 2023 Exam, only such candidate’s Section B marks is going to be considered who have been shortlisted based on Section- A scores.
AILET Syllabus for PhD program consists of Research Methodology and Legal Research Aptitude. What are the changes in AILET 2023 BA LLB Syllabus?
- While AILET BA LLB Syllabus earlier comprise of five sections- NLU Delhi has scarpped Elemenatry Mathematics and Legal Aptitude Section. Candidates are required to attempt questions from only three sections- English Language, Current Affairs/ General Knowledge and Logical Reasoning.
- The total number of questions that will be asked in AILET BA LLB Paper is the same- 150. However there has been increase in weightage of Logical Reasoning section, covering almost 50% of the paper.
- Questions related to Legal Aptitude may be asked in Logical Reasoning section. However such questions will not required prior knowledge of law.
- In case of two candidates scoring the same marks, to break the tie- first candidates marks in Logical Reasoning will be considered.
