Mathematics section in WBJEE Question Paper holds the maximum weightage with 75 questions carrying 100 marks. Mathematics is considered to be a section which varies in levels of difficulty from moderate to difficult. WBJEE 2023 Exam Pattern

For WBJEE 2023, candidates are required to appear majorly for 2 papers:

  • Paper I (Mathematics)
  • Paper II (Physics and Chemistry

Candidates who appear for both Paper I & Paper II are awarded GMR (General Merit Rank) and are eligible to seek admission in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture/ Pharmacy courses in all institutes. Meanwhile, candidates who appear only in Paper II are awarded PMR (Pharmacy Merit Rank) and are eligible for admission in Pharmacy courses only (except Jadavpur University).
