Being an assistant Professor of EEE Department, what are your responsibilities towards the Students?

As a faculty, my prime responsibility is to provide the finest quality education and amenities to my students. Also, I need to guide and counsel students whenever they get stuck somewhere or get confused with respect to career.

How do you establish healthy relations with the students of your college?

I firmly believe that a cordial relationship between teachers and students is necessary for insightful college results and smooth conduction of college activities. Hence, I regularly interact with them so that I can address their academic and non-academic issues and queries and can resolve them on time. Social events which our college organizes regularly also proves to be a bond maker between us and our students.

How do you bring in a practical and industry oriented approach towards subjects?

We actually use different kinds of teaching-learning techniques to enforce the industry driven and practical approach towards subjects. Our college also organizes popular speakers' talks on latest trends to enhance the industrial exposure and experiences of students. Apart from all this, we have joined several top affiliations to train our students and give them a defined path to learn new things as per their interest and passion. 

Which best practices are offered by your college to the students to help them gain necessary skills? 

Our college has signed MOUs with reputed industries and organizations to organize a wide variety of events like guest lectures and industry interaction sessions, where industry experts are invited to share their experiences, expectations and inputs with us which gives our students a lot of insights about how things actually work in the real world. Also projects are assigned to students in every semester so that they can implement their classroom learning to solve the problems and learn new things also. Lastly, experiments are conducted by us to strengthen students' technical concepts. 

How does your department prepare students for Higher education and placement?

We do have a dedicated Training and Placement Cell to train our students for both the things. And many of our college students are working for top organizations while others are pursuing higher education in their field of interest and passion. And to prepare students for the industries, we offer different kinds of customized basic and advanced level training programs and also guide them about the available career options and higher education scope.

Which extracurricular activities are organized in your college to enhance the skills of students?

We understand the fact that co-curricular activities are equally important for students as academics as both things together will ensure their complete personal and professional growth. Hence a wide variety of activities from sports events to paper shows, social activities and meetings are organized by us from time to time to upskill our students.

What message would you like to give to existing and upcoming students who will join your department?

I would like to advise my existing students and to students who will join us later to give equal focus on both theoretical and practical learning. Also, keep learning new things, upgrade your skills and stay updated with what's happening in the technology and education sector. Because once students pass out from our college, they should be completely ready to face the society and corporate challenges and provide a best suitable solution for those real world issues.

How does your college enhance the faculty skills and prepare them as per industry standards?

Our college management is very supportive in nature and gives us proper space and time to learn new technologies and execute our ideas. Industry interaction sessions and Faculty Development Programs are organized by our college as and when required to upskill faculty members and train them in the latest technologies.
