Dr Sidharth Raju is the Head of Hotel, Hospitality and Tourism Management Department at VGU, Jaipur. He has 16 years of experience in Academics and the Industrial field. He has been awarded the Rashtriya Gaurav Award, a National Award in the education sector. He has THSC and AHLEI Membership. He has published two reference books for MBA, MPhil and Hotel Management titled Effect of cultural diversities in Business, Performance evaluation techniques in Hospitality and Tourism management. He has attended multiple national and international conferences. He is an esteemed guest faculty of Graphic Era at various national level universities.

What are some valuable insights into the program that you are offering?

“Global exposure and an opportunity to learn from the best experts in the field”

 Bartending is required for FNB (Food and Beverage Service), French and Spanish are compulsory for Front Office, Origami is required for Housekeeping, and regular and live demos are necessary for students taking classes in the kitchen (Food Production). Each class includes the first lecture on language and English communication every day, and these practices are mandatory for all students.

How do you tend to build an industry connection with this program?

“Industry visits, Hotel tours and vocational training for our students”

 A syllabus is structured in accordance with the industry. In structuring a project, we enlist the help of industry experts, HR personnel, a chef, a food and beverage manager, and an executive housekeeper. Throughout the entire course duration, there are many industrial visits, two vocational training sessions, and six months of industrial training. Students will have the opportunity to connect with industry throughout the duration of the course.
