With the onset of Industry 4.0, we have designed the Nextgen programs in view of the in demand skill set and to ensure all around growth and development of students. And to educate our students about the latest happenings and expectations of the industrial world, we regularly organize industrial visits, webinars and workshops. Also for the purpose of bridging the gap between academics and corporate demands, we are offering a diverse range of UG and PG Nextgen programs in the discipline of Engineering, Management, Computer Applications and Mass Communication.

What challenges have you faced while inculcating these programs in your curriculum?

"Effective and timely implementation of our Nextgen courses is definitely a roadblock for us"

As Nextgen courses are practical-based, the biggest challenge we encountered in incorporating these programs into our curriculum was the effective and timely implementation of them. Also achieving excellence in delivering these courses to students was another big and difficult task for us. 

On what types of projects your students are currently working upon under these NextGen courses? 

"Students are currently developing projects related to Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Security"

Our students are presently working on a diverse range of real time projects related to Artificial Intelligence Cloud and Cyber security. And special workshops are conducted by us from time to time, because we believe that along with theoretical and practical knowledge, students must work on projects to sharpen their existing skills and build new one. Recently our students participated in a 72 hours of continuous Hackathon organised by ACIC-VGU Foundation and this grand event was attended by the 80+ teams of various institutions from across the country which included 300+ coders. The teams coded for hours to solve one of the 26 problem statements provided by the three domains, namely Agritech, Design and Craft and Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
