Which is better for chemical engineering, NIT Warangal or BITS Hyd/Goa?
Both NIT Warangal and BITS Hyderabad/Goa are enormous and well-known colleges. If you choose either of them for a particular field it will be worth it. Just make sure of that in whichever college you are, give your best and you shall lead to success.
Both the colleges stand equally in terms of academics and placement statistics.
- In terms of exposure, opportunities, research and peer interaction in BITS specifically are much more than NIT Warangal.
- BITS embolden you to go for a long project for one semester in your final year in any part of the world. This is the main point of BITS that keeps it ahead of NIT.
- Otherwise, you can experience almost the same in both the colleges in terms of career.

Further, I would advise you for NIT as it has less fees so there will be less burden on you and your family. Faculties are good in NIT as well. You will get the NIT brand associated with you which is very prestigious.
How is chemical engineering in BITS Pilani, Goa campus (placements, peer group, etc.), compared to NIT Warangal, Trichy, etc.?
As one of my friends studied at NIT Trichy, I might favor it among the others. Also I do not have much idea about the other mentioned colleges. Do interact with some ex-students of these colleges to get a proper understanding of them.

Which has better hostel facilities, NIT Surathkal or NIT Warangal?
One of my relatives has resided in NIT Warangal hostels. Based on his experience, I can give the following information:
- NIT Warangal has Asia's biggest hostel and it is given to B.Tech, M.Tech, and BCA freshers. There are both single and double rooms.
- On the ground floor, there is a snacks corner, Amul shop, and coffee and tea shops as well. This is a hangout place for all the students.
- There is another big hostel which is given to 3rd and 4th-year students with single and double rooms.
- For girls, the hostels are not as good as the boys’ hostels.
- In the first year, you will be accommodated with 4 people in one room due to space issues.
- You will also be restricted from moving out of the hostel at any time during 1st year.
- For the second-year students, an old hostel is provided where the washrooms desperately need renovation and the rooms are not in good condition.
- For 3rd and 4th year, you might get good rooms which will be spacious and comfortable. Although new hostels are being developed, the facilities might change in the coming years.
When talking about NIT Surathkal, the hostel facilities are fine. In the 1st and the 2nd year, you will have sharing rooms. From the 3rd year onwards you will get single accommodations. Internet connectivity in the hostels is not very good. The girls are provided washing machines. There is a night canteen on the hostel premises. For boys, there are no in and out timings.
Which will be better, CSE at IIT Mandi, DTU, NSIT, BITS GOA or any NIT (Warangal)?
For CSE, BITS Goa is the best option among the colleges mentioned here. The student crowd for the branch is almost as good as BITS Pilani. The cutoff difference between the campuses isn’t much.
BITS Goa CSE placements are pretty good. According to the placement highlights, the average package for the branch is INR 12 LPA.
The coding culture at BITS Goa is better than all the institutes mentioned here.
Which is better for good placements, NIT Warangal for Civil or JNTUH for CSE?
You can go for NIT Warangal for civil. But, if you prefer CSE then go for JNTUH, Hyderabad. With your rank, you can easily get into NIT Warangal.
Your future is safe in both the colleges as they provide the best exposure. But, if you fetch NIT Warangal via your JEE Main AIR of JOSAA counseling, you will definitely get branches like ECE, EEE at any of the top 7 NIT. And, that would be a better option.
Do not worry much and simply go for the JOSAA counseling. If TS EAMCET counseling is limiting then secure your seat in the choice of branch of yours at JNTUH. Instead of submitting the original certificate of class 12, you can submit an undertaking certificate.
Out of NIT Trichy, NIT Surathkal and NIT Warangal, which one is the best for a CSE?
Among these, NIT Surathkal CSE is the best option.
- NITK offers better placements for CSE, compared to NIT Trichy and NIT Warangal. CSE branch has a 100% placement rate. During NIT Surathkal placement 2021, the highest CTC offered was INR 51 LPA. Google Hyderabad and Microsoft visited the campus for placements.
- The coding culture on campus is pretty active. A total of 23 students were selected for GSoC 2020.
The excellent coding culture, cushy placement packages, and great academics are the reasons why NITK is a great option for CSE.
Which is better for EC, NIT Calicut or NIT Warangal?
One of my friends from school used to be a student of the NIT Calicut. I can share his experience at the institute.
- The crowd in NIT Calicut is enormously competitive.
- In addition to the coursework, the institute gives a lot of importance is given to extra-curricular activities. NIT Calicut will encourage you to participate in the activities. There are also activities such as projects, engaging in works related to research and workshops.
- Some of the best faculty members are engaged in said activities and they can often be found in one of these workshops.
- All of the faculty have immense knowledge and are also very talented. They are very supportive and enthusiastically help the students push their limits and living up to their true potential.
My friend advises that you should expect the coursework to be rigorous. The institute also plans occasional trips to Ooty, Kochi, Goa, etc.

NIT Warangal CSE vs IIIT Bangalore iMTech in CSE, what should I choose?
NIT Warangal CSE is a better option compared to IIIT Bangalore iMTech. NITW offers better placement opportunities and ROI. According to 2021 highlights, NIT Warangal CSE average package was INR 20.02 LPA. While the highest was INR 43 LPA. Oracle India Pvt Ltd, Accenture, Capgemini, SAP Labs were the major recruiters. NIT Warangal charges only INR 5.19 lakhs for B.Tech CSE. So, ROI is pretty good.
As NITW is an older institute, it has a bigger alumni base. As a student of NITW, you will get better exposure and networking opportunities.
Which is better for MCA, NIT Warangal or NIT Surathkal?
NIT Warangal ranks 26th in engineering by NIRF 2019 and provides excellent employment opportunities in many top IT firms. The current strength of the institute is 5010, with faculty members of 302. NIT Surathkal is ranked 21st in engineering by NIRF 2019. It is one of India’s leading engineering colleges with a student strength of 4688 and a faculty of 400 members. It is a pioneer institute having one of the best placement records.

- The candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in mathematics/ statistics/ computer application from any recognized university.
- The minimum marks required for this course is 60%.

NIT Surathkal

Which is better, IIT Bhubaneswar for ECE or NIT Warangal CSE?
NIT Warangal CSE is better than IIT Bhubaneswar. It is among the best NITs in the country. In terms of academics and teaching, it is ahead of IIT Bhubaneswar. NIT Warangal placements are excellent for CSE. In recent years, the average CTC for CSE has been INR 20 LPA. The highest CTC for CSE goes up to INR 52 LPA. Oracle, Mastercard, BNY Mellon, etc. are the major recruiters for the branch.
