How good is the new IIM Ahmedabad business analytics course? Please provide your views on whether one should enroll in it.

You might be talking about the Executive Education programme in Advanced Analytics offered by IIM-A. The course is 6 days long. This course aims at students practicing analytics everyday. Since the course duration is 6 days, the faculty members do not focus on all the topics, but only brush up on the basics. They tend to focus mainly on Business Applications. 

Analytics mainly has statistics at its core and the faculty does not seem to pay attention to that portion. Also topics like Data Visualization require a different approach of teaching, something teachers of statistics are unable to provide.

Topics like Forecasting, Regression, Text Mining and Classification are some of the basics and commonly used in industries. But due to the lack of information on the website it is very difficult to say how good the program is. If you are an analytics practitioner, this course may interest you.
