Remarks :

You Can get admission through JEE MAIN. After that u have to apply for the counseling process then u get into this college according to ur marks and choice filling preference. In this u find some ups and downs, in terms of weather greenery environment, it's quite rich.

Course Curriculum Overview :

One of the reasons for choosing the course of this college is that it's an NIT and it is one of the reputed colleges in India. Student Ratio: 10 girls out of 38 students, The faculty of the college is highly qualified. Exams are conducted from time to time and they take also class tests.

Class Size : 38Course Fees : INR 69500 per year

Internships Opportunities :

The companies that are mainly involved in providing internships are Samsung, Tata motors and L&T, etc. The main roles offered are assistance and entry-level positions. There was a project done by the collaboration of civil and cs students in which they made a device that prealerts about landslides which is a revolutionary change in Northeastern states of India.

Placement Experience :

You are eligible for placement from the 7th semester. There are lots of companies visited here like Samsung, Amazon, Infosys, TCS, etc. This year one of the guys get an offer of 28lpa who is from the EEE department and placement is still going.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

If you are from the General quota then there is no fee rebate but if you are from OBC SC ST then there will be some rebate. You can also find some scholarships which is given by institutes or by the state government.

Campus Life :

At NIT MIZORAM they organize a fest named KHUSHAMDID which is quite good because of the different cultures of Mizoram. There are lots of books in the library according to your requirement. You can go to Inter Nit competitions in different sports.

Placement Experience:

Regarding the placements, the eligibility starts from the third year ( 5th Semester). Many companies select certain students through tests and then interviews. The top recruiters are Wipro Infosys TCS offering a median package of 4 Lakhs. The percentage of students getting placement is 60-75%. After getting the degree, I plan to give the GATE exam and my state PSC for job purposes.

Review of NIT Mizoram

Placement Experience:

NIT MIZORAM is a government college in which students from all over India come by clearing the JEE Mains exam so we can say that almost all the students are very good at their academics which is the most prior segment for getting placed in good MNCs. Companies like Samsung, Tata motors and L&T, etc are the most common recruiters at NIT Mizoram. And the average package offered stays between 6 to 7 lakhs per annum. Surprisingly about more than 90% of students are placed in a year.
