Remarks :

For applying to NIT Mizoram in B Tech courses you have to give JEE Mains exam which is conducted by the National Testing Agency which functions under the Government of India. If you clear the minimum passing criteria for the exam then you get a rank that is needed at the time of admission. There is a reservation for economically weaker sections and also for reserved categories that are authorized by the government of India.

Course Curriculum Overview :

As per my rank in the JEE Mains exam, this branch was allotted to me. The faculty here is very well educated and very good in nature. Almost all the faculty members hold Ph.D. degrees in their own specific fields. Exams here are conducted 4 times in a year and the exam are not that much difficult to pass.

Internships Opportunities :

The most common recruiters in NIT MIZORAM are Samsung, Tata motors and L&T, and various other national and international MNCs which offer internship programs and a very good stipend. The NIT also performs various projects with collaboration with companies for providing better future to the students studying in NIT Mizoram.

Placement Experience :

NIT MIZORAM is a government college in which students from all over India come by clearing the JEE Mains exam so we can say that almost all the students are very good at their academics which is the most prior segment for getting placed in good MNCs. Companies like Samsung, Tata motors and L&T, etc are the most common recruiters at NIT Mizoram. And the average package offered stays between 6 to 7 lakhs per annum. Surprisingly about more than 90% of students are placed in a year.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees taken by the institute are very reasonable with respect to the degree value. The return on investment here is very good as compared with other respective private institutions. Nit Mizoram also provides various scholarships in respective fields.

Campus Life :

The annual fest conducted by NIT Mizoram is known as Khushamdeed this is conducted once a year for the last year's BTech students. As it is a government college, it provides every facility required to be in the college.

Hostel Facilities :

As it is a government college, students from all over India come here to receive the degree so it is very important to provide hostel facilities and as per my experience, the hostel facilities are very good as compared to other colleges.

Placement Experience:

Regarding the placements, the eligibility starts from the third year ( 5th Semester). Many companies select certain students through tests and then interviews. The top recruiters are Wipro Infosys TCS offering a median package of 4 Lakhs. The percentage of students getting placement is 60-75%. After getting the degree, I plan to give the GATE exam and my state PSC for job purposes.

Nit mizoram review

Placement Experience:

You are eligible for placement from the 7th semester. There are lots of companies visited here like Samsung, Amazon, Infosys, TCS, etc. This year one of the guys get an offer of 28lpa who is from the EEE department and placement is still going.
