Remarks :
Since IIITD is one of the top engineering colleges in INDIA therefore you have to work really hard to come here...the cut off of CSE closes at almost 9k rank. The process of admission is pretty simple since we are only required to get our documents verified in JAC COUNSELLING by paying a big amount of approx. 100k.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Each course here is well structured and students rarely get time here for their extracurricular activities. The quality of faculty here is top-notch as almost every teacher in IIITD is from a foreign university and follows a foreign curriculum. And, it's very difficult to pass exams since you have to study the whole semester.
Internships Opportunities :
There are many internships in IIITD every year where some of the companies are like GOOGLE, AMAZON, GOLDMAN SACHS, etc...and their average stipend is around 41k which again depends on the skills and not on the branch.
Placement Experience :
Here comes the most beautiful thing about this college which is PLACEMENTS...so the placements here are top notch with an average package of around 21.6 LPA and 27LPA for CSE which is a huge number. But now the twist comes, after having a talk with PLACED seniors, I came to know that your BRANCH does not matter for placements, the only thing that matters is your SKILLS. Even I have seen an ECE student with a PPO of 30 LPA, so yeah, your BRANCH does not matter in IIITD
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The major disadvantage in IIITD is the fees which are around 450k and may have a hike of 10-15% every year. The college notifies students by mail about each and every scholarship like an edistrict scholarship etc. otherwise any student can get a bank loan easily even if the college refused to give a FEE STRUCTURE of 4 years.
Campus Life :
Life at the campus is not good as compared to other colleges since we have to study throughout the semester and rarely get time for any extracurricular activity, but yea, we have an annual fest ODYSSEY which helps us to relax from the college's rigorous syllabus. Sports facilities are there but don't expect too much since it is only a 25-acre campus.
