Remarks :
The admission process consisted of a GE PI WAT structure. There were no reservations. The cut-offs were based on the percentile cut-off for SNAP. There were multiple slots that we could choose for the GE-PI based on our convenience. Overall it was a very smooth and transparent process
Course Curriculum Overview :
MBA was something that was there always on my mind There are 70 students in HR, 100 in marketing and 30 in Finance. There are 10-13 subjects per semester with different faculties for different subjects
Internships Opportunities :
There are internship opportunities available for HR, marketing, finance, infrastructure development and business analytics. Further to this there are plenty of companies who come for consulting roles.
Placement Experience :
Campus placements are pretty decent at SCMHRD. Our college falls in the tier 2 category. The placement/summer internship process goes on for about a month and there is 100% placement. I've myself secured a job in an MNC
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure is similar to other MBA colleges, with an average of 25 lakhs. The ROI is pretty good as well. The average stipend for a summer internship is more than 1.5 lakh and for final placement around 20 lakhs.
Campus Life :
There are many committees on campus, placement committee, alumni relations team, admissions and PR, media and PR, Samatva, NEEV and many others. These committees ensure that college life is fun and there are engagement activities throughout the year
Hostel Facilities :
It's a triple-sharing room with an attached washroom. Housekeeping cleans the rooms twice every week, so it's a neat set-up The mess food is homely but might get mundane after a point. There are 6 electricity points, 2 lights and fans
Interview Experience :
Yes, there was a GD round. I primarily took help from Career Launcher. Through their mock PIs and GDs, it was easier for me to prepare. 1st was the WAT, wherein we were given a picture and told to write what comes to our mind. For the GE, there were 3 panellists and groups of 3.
