Remarks :
The admission process is merit-based, how much you scored in wbjee. Also, the admission process takes place through jee mains. The document verification process is very strict. You should submit your documents in original for scanning and the college authorities will keep the photocopies of that documents to them.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Since there are enough opportunities for electronics and communication engineers as they can opt for core jobs ( generally very rare) or software-based companies. The faculties are very cooperative if you want to learn anything really. If you have an interest in any particular topic the faculties will surely help you out. The Faculties are very experienced. Maximum teachers are Mtech holders and have experience of at least 12 years of teaching in reputed institutions. Semester exams are conducted by MAKAUT. The question difficulty level is moderate. If you follow the class notes of the teachers, you will surely pass with at least 7.5GPA. There are two semesters per year.
Internships Opportunities :
Many reputed companies like intel, E&Y, SAP LABS, ETC will provide internship opportunities. Mostly software-based companies hive you internships and jobs. Core companies come less. There will be enough chances to do the projects and the faculties seniors will help you out with the project.
Placement Experience :
From 5th semester the college Faculties will start mentoring each and every student for placement. Many students got their dream jobs in the 3rd year only. The highest package is 48 LPA AND the average package is 6-7 LPA. Maximum students are hired by TCS , WIPRO COGNIZANT IBM ETC. Mostly more than 90% stude6 get the job to be honest.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The total fee for 4 years BTech program is 5 lakhs 50 thousand. Yeah, it's a little bit high for some middle-class family students. But if you are eligible for a scholarship from west bengal like SVMCM, OASIS, or central government scholarships like NSP, etc, The college has a special scholarship consultation cell, which will definitely help you to get your scholarship. If you score well in WBJEE there is a facility for TFW seats where your tuition fee will be waived out. Also, you will get internship opportunities if you are skillful enough.
Campus Life :
Actually, if you are aiming for a big campus where you will enjoy the full day without studies, NSEC should not be your choice. If you want education, group discussion, competitive coding, and workshops, nsec is the better choice. There is a library facility, from where you can borrow books. There are many clubs like tech clubs, eco-cultural clubs sports club, coding club,s etc. They are so cooperative that if you want to learn anything, they will surely help you out.
