Brief review of IITJ

Remarks :

We need to get a good rank in JEE advanced exam and then further enrol ourselves into counselling conducted by jossaa where we fill out the colleges as per our choices and then eventually get the seats as per our ranking to get admission into the courses and colleges of our choice. the application form is usually released by jossaa which conducts the exam and then do the further counselling process, we need to apply and then sit in the exam and get a good score and rank to be admitted into IITs

Course Curriculum Overview :

Because of the guidance you get from your peers as well as counsellors in your coaching institutes, you avail of the courses and decide your preference. There was no personal choice of mine to select this course only. It was about 1:15 They were PhDs from foreign universities mostly. Yes, term exams were conducted thrice a semester and it was not that difficult to pass, but it was difficult to score good grades.

Placement Experience :

After 6th-semester students become eligible for placements. There were many companies that visited the campus like Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Accenture, Slice, L&T, Maruti Suzuki, Evalueserve and many more and there were many offers that were made. There was a very high percentage of students, few students don't apply for the placements and had other plans like doing masters, Phd, studying abroad or civil services and pursuing their interests. My plan is to get good companies and package

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Tuition fees almost remain the same but hostel and medical fees used to increase by roughly 10%. Yes, there were fee waivers and scholarships available for the students who were eligible. Most scholarships depend on the family income or the category/caste and state you belong to. I don't have many details to deliver as it was specific to a specific person. As per my case, I didn't avail any.

Campus Life :

There were several fests that were conducted. i) Ignus - One of the biggest fest of all the colleges in Rajasthan. It was mainly a cultural fest where students come from different colleges come and enjoy a lot in pronites, fashion shows, dance shows, games and other competitive activities that were conducted ii) Promteo - Tech Fest, with exciting events iii) Spandan - Intracollege cultural fest. iv) Varchas - Intercollege sports fest. The library was huge with lots of books and resources available to read. All the classrooms were air-conditioned, well furnished and had blackboard and projector. There were many sports facilities and grounds available for students with trainers like for cricket, volleyball, football, basketball, badminton, table tennis, running track and many more in which you can participate. There was a student gymkhana under which various societies as per their functioning were divided and each society has many clubs which were run by students.

Hostel Facilities :

1) There were below facilities in the room i) single room for everyone. ii) Air conditioned with almirah , bed , table and chair. 2) Meal quality was good and menu can be decided as per majority of students want. But after some time you feel bored with the taste but there were canteens and food courts available as well. 3) everything from registration of hostels and all is done when you take admission and will go to college for the first time.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose to engineer in computer science because I love computers and coding. The student ratio in college is good and the faculty are in good numbers. The faculty is well-qualified and their teaching is good. There are two mid-term and one final semester exam in one semester and it is quite difficult.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the semester. Various big companies visit the campus like Adani, tata, JSW, etc. The highest package recently is 16 lakhs and the average package is about 7 lakhs. In the mech department, more than 50% of students are getting placed. My plan is also to sit in the campus placements only.

Placement Experience:

You need to pass your engineering degree without getting any backlog. And you will have ample opportunity to be placed in any big company with an average package of 10lakhs and even more. The highest package is 32 lakhs gained by one of the seniors. Nearly 60% of students get placed every year and others do go for gate and other opportunities. I would like to work in government as a government official and this will eventually lead to better growth in my college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I want to become an electrical engineer. In this college faculty members are 21 and students in electrical engineering 44. All faculty members have Ph.D. degrees. Then took time to time exam and this exam was very tough to crack.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the CSE course because I want to explore various things in the software department. Here faculty: student ratio is sufficient. All subjects have their particular faculty allotted. All faculties have done their BTech & MTech from known colleges and they teach us interactively that we can relate in our day-to-day life. In 1st year there are no criteria for midterm examinations but from 2nd year onwards there is mid-term examinations in our college, there is a saying that here offline exams are very to difficult to pass. I gave my first-year exams online mode.
