In our many companies are came to hire, it's almost 250 including Google, Microsoft, Barclay ICICI bank and many more. In data science, the 62 lacs package in Japan is the highest package this year average package is almost 12 lac.
Basically, I am doing an m.tech in data and computational science. Mtech can be done through the Gate exam score and self-sponsorship program. After the qualifying gate, you have to do a counseling process on COPA IITs and JOSA for NiTs and you have to apply to individual institutes for particular IITs for admission. Application fees are as per the category.
After 6th-semester students become eligible for placements. There were many companies that visited the campus like Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Accenture, Slice, L&T, Maruti Suzuki, Evalueserve and many more and there were many offers that were made. There was a very high percentage of students, few students don't apply for the placements and had other plans like doing masters, Phd, studying abroad or civil services and pursuing their interests. My plan is to get good companies and package
We need to get a good rank in JEE advanced exam and then further enrol ourselves into counselling conducted by jossaa where we fill out the colleges as per our choices and then eventually get the seats as per our ranking to get admission into the courses and colleges of our choice. the application form is usually released by jossaa which conducts the exam and then do the further counselling process, we need to apply and then sit in the exam and get a good score and rank to be admitted into IITs
Students in their final year are eligible for placement, and many top companies like maang and many others visit the campus for placements and give good offers. Highest package for the last placement is 85lpa, while the average is 28lpa. About 90% of students get placed on campus.
Admission for IIT Jodhpur Btech takes place through JEE Advanced while for mtech it takes place through GATE. You shall qualify for the respective exam to be eligible for admission into the college. Qualification criteria may vary if you have any quota and can be found on jossa site.
The curriculum is great and proffesors are all knowledgable with thorough information of their field. The curriculum includes all the major topics to mould us into great engineers and helps us develop our overall development
I had to clear JEE main and Adv to secure a seat in this college. JEE being a prestigious examination and famous all over the country for its difficulty is not that difficult to crack. Just be regular with your work and write as many sample operas as you can so that you get thorough with the type of questions they usually ask.
Companies visit the campus in the 6th semester of B.Tech. and Many companies visited the campus for around 4 months like Google, Microsoft, Zomato, amazon, Capgemini, Unacademy, etc. The highest package was 55 Lakhs and the average package is 12 Lakhs. Around 92% of students got placed.
Admission is based on the IITJEE Advanced examination rank and all the details are available on the website of JOSAA. The details of the scholarship are provided by the college through the mail. The admission process is good and smooth.
Students are eligible for placement from sem 7 i.e. from the 4th year. Companies like PayPal, Deutsche Bank, Microsoft, De Shaw, etc. have visited the campus and have made many offers. The highest package was 44 LPA while the average package was about 29 LPA. generally, all students get placement and rarely very few are eliminated.
Admission to IIT Jodhpur is based on JOSAA counseling which is based on marks in JEE advanced. The course eligibility is 12th Pass and clearing the cutoff marks of JEE advanced. After Josaa Counselling you will receive a mail from the college which will provide you with the detailed application process. Also, you can find the approximate date of admission on the website of the college.
I chose the CSE department because, in the present scenario, the future of the students can be seen more in this course as there is a rapid increase in the development we are seeing in technology. Coming to the faculty there is very good and well-recognized by all. There is a unique way of teaching in every faculty member and the support they provide to the students is ultimate.
All the admissions to all the national institutes like IITs, NITs, IIITs, etc., will be based on the JEE Mains and Advanced exams conducted by the central government every year. By gaining a good score in the first level JEE Mains exams and based on the rank you get you will be allowed to give preferences to the colleges list belonging to NIT and IIIT. If we are qualified to write the advanced exam and gain a score above the cutoff of your category with a decent margin then we will be allowed to fill in preferences for colleges belonging to IIT. After conducting 7 rounds of seat allocation, you will get a college from the list you selected if eligible.
The college provides good placements not only for the software people but also for the other core fields and there are options for research as well. The professors also help to give the letter of recommendation.
I participated in JOSAA counseling and received Electrical engineering as my branch. I'm much interested in electrical engineering and circuits. There are reservation benefits as well in the college for reserved people.
The placements statistics of IIT Jodhpur are really above most of the other new gen IITs. The average package is around 20 lacs and there are cases when the highest package is above 50lacs. The companies also visit for other fiels then sde and ds.
The admission process was done through JOSAA counselling. We received a mail to pay some advance fees and do our registrations. The moment we reached campus then, we got more documents for registration and a document verification happened. I took CSE branch. Admission process was a little unclear. Everything could have been done online.
The overall placement record is very good. For the academic year 2021-22, the placement statistics read overall 97.28% for B.Tech with 100% for CSE and BB and 95% for EE, 91% for ME. Some of the companies that come are Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Flipkart, Samsung, Goldman Sachs, Intel, American Express, Barclays, Cisco, Morgan Stanley, TCS, Infosys, JIO, BHEL, ISRO, DRDO, Optum, etc.
Admission to the IIT Jodhpur B.Tech program is through the JEE Advanced exam. First, We have to apply for the JEE Mains exam. In our year, we had 4 Mains Exams, as 2021 saw the peak of Covid Wave 2 in India. Around the Top 2, 50,000 students are selected for JEE Advanced. And according to the rank secured in Advanced, seat allocation and admission are done through the JoSAA portal.
