To the point

Remarks :

Admission for IIT Jodhpur Btech takes place through JEE Advanced while for mtech it takes place through GATE. You shall qualify for the respective exam to be eligible for admission into the college. Qualification criteria may vary if you have any quota and can be found on jossa site.

Course Curriculum Overview :

AI and Data science is a growing field and IIT always provides you with tremendous opportunities so it was an easy decision to take this branch at iit. The faculty-student ratio here is very good and teachers are very supportive which really means a lot. Most of the teachers are PhD or Double Doctorate which briefly tell about their experience and expertise. Here continuous evaluation has a major chunk of grades so it reduces stress on the last days of the exam as the final exam carries only about 30-4%.

Internships Opportunities :

Companies like Microsoft, Google, de shaw, and many startups offer internships to students Also, many students go for foreign research as we have a very great faculty with good connections which is beneficial for all students

Placement Experience :

Students in their final year are eligible for placement, and many top companies like maang and many others visit the campus for placements and give good offers. Highest package for the last placement is 85lpa, while the average is 28lpa. About 90% of students get placed on campus.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees here are very nominal if compared to the output it provides. Many scholarships are available for females, ews quota, obc-ncl along with fee remission which makes their fees negligible. Many corporates also give scholarships based on merit.

Campus Life :

IIT Jodhpur organises Prometeo Techfest which is one of the largest tech events in North Western India, it takes place in the month of January. Also, a cultural fest Ignus is conducted in February which is a massive one with a huge budget. The library here has access to a large number of books and you won't face any problems using it for reading, or studying purposes as it is centrally air conditioning. For sports, the college also has a sports complex with 8 badminton courts and 4 table tennis courts, squash, gym, synthetic running track, football ground, cricket ground, tennis, basketball, carrom, billiards, Kabbadi and more

Hostel Facilities :

Many new hostels are being currently made and they are just awesome. Mess food is better than many other iits here and many other eating outlets are present inside the campus for a change. Hostel registration is done with the admission and is hassle-free.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose to engineer in computer science because I love computers and coding. The student ratio in college is good and the faculty are in good numbers. The faculty is well-qualified and their teaching is good. There are two mid-term and one final semester exam in one semester and it is quite difficult.

Students become eligible for campus placements from the semester. Various big companies visit the campus like Adani, tata, JSW, etc. The highest package recently is 16 lakhs and the average package is about 7 lakhs. In the mech department, more than 50% of students are getting placed. My plan is also to sit in the campus placements only.

You need to pass your engineering degree without getting any backlog. And you will have ample opportunity to be placed in any big company with an average package of 10lakhs and even more. The highest package is 32 lakhs gained by one of the seniors. Nearly 60% of students get placed every year and others do go for gate and other opportunities. I would like to work in government as a government official and this will eventually lead to better growth in my college.

I want to become an electrical engineer. In this college faculty members are 21 and students in electrical engineering 44. All faculty members have Ph.D. degrees. Then took time to time exam and this exam was very tough to crack.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the CSE course because I want to explore various things in the software department. Here faculty: student ratio is sufficient. All subjects have their particular faculty allotted. All faculties have done their BTech & MTech from known colleges and they teach us interactively that we can relate in our day-to-day life. In 1st year there are no criteria for midterm examinations but from 2nd year onwards there is mid-term examinations in our college, there is a saying that here offline exams are very to difficult to pass. I gave my first-year exams online mode.
