When I first joined the university, I had a week goal special week. I got to meet all the different societies that university has to offer. I could speak and chose whichever I wanted to join. They will have lots of different events. They do university tours, they give free meals on that specific day. There are so many different activities. There is gym. They have zumba classes, swimming classes.

Being an indian student, we do not see that much gatherings in family in US. Many of my elders told that do not make more indian friends while in US, because you will be messed up. They will all talk about their homes and that will make you homesick. That messes up your focus. You interact with different people. I took an apartment a bit far away from university. We were 7 people in single house

There are over 300 clubs and societies to choose from, and I think there's something for everyone. Joining a club or a society is a great way to develop your skills and broaden your network. One tip that I have for you guys is to, uh, plan for your study abroad as soon as possible, planning ahead is important because there are a lot of details you will need to take into account before you leave. So yeah, that's about it all the very best guys.

Hostel:

There are some accommodations here, which I like, which are not only hostels, hostels it's like it's like setup of a normal society and they have number of flats. And students stay most of the students, they prefer staying there colleges. So these student housing are common's, you will find a lot of people from your college staying there only. You and all bills are included. It's very. It has good environment of studying they have reading room. They have common housing in the it. So that is very good. The colleges are good for undergraduate course to visit, but it's not good for postgraduate because on postgraduate residency only prefer Ph.D. people.

There are university and private accommodations available. University accommodations are expensive but safe and secure. You can get free gym memberships, able to attend free events, free printers would be available inside the accommodation.

Not only being one of the top 100 universities in the world, University of Leeds is known for its research work. The programme I chose which is Electrical and Renewable Energy System, I could not find the syllabus that includes both generation, distribution and renewable in any other UK universities.

Accomodation facilities are great but high living costs. When self funding must depend on part-time.

University of Leeds was the top of my list when applying for university. It came under 100 in top world universities. When I cleared all the required criterias, I thought no further.

I choose st.marks residences which is 5mins away from the University building and electrical block. It was an en-suite with a shared kitchen costing £625 per month. The residence has a common room with pool table and table tennis . It also has computer room with printer. A small Gym. 24/7 security.

It is one of the top 100 universities in the world and this is the only university under russell group which provides the combination of Electrical and Renewable energy modules together.

Due to Covid, I’m studying remotely for the first semester

University of Leeds is a Russel group University which is top ten in the UK for law. Also, I really liked the course structure. And the job prospects are really good.

I lived in student accommodation in my first year and currently live off-campus. The university provides all the information that is needed about student accommodation online and they are also available to answer any questions that come! The student accommodations also have great service with security! The university also has a tie-up with Unipol, which is close to campus. This organization helps students find the right home for them when they plan to move out of student accommodation. They also provide a book with guidelines to follow when students go for house viewing so that it helps them make the right decision.

The Business School at the University of Leeds is a triple-accredited school, which directly means that it is a well-recognized school for my course. The employability prospects are also good, and most importantly, it provides good course content as well as excellent teaching staff.
