Hyderabad University M.Sc Biotechnology Course Details

• The M.Sc Biotechnology course comprises 4 semesters with the credit system evaluation and latest curriculum as recommended by DBT.
• The curriculum of the course includes core courses and elective courses. In addition to the academic training, the students are also trained by various interactions with biotech industries.
• After the successful completion of the first 2 semesters, the students are assigned to the project supervisors based on the decision criteria at the time of admission.
• The University of Hyderabad offers a total of 25 subjects during the whole M.Sc Biotechnology course.

Attendance Requirements:

• The students are required to attend at least 75% of the classes actually held in each course and at least 60% in the repeat course/subject. Along with that, the students also have to participate in seminars and practicals as prescribed.
• Any students who are continuously absent for 10 days except for any valid reason are liable to be removed from the university.

Evaluation and continuous assessment:
