The college had good placements for the last three years. Received an average package of 13LPA for the CS and IT branches with 100% placements. And, 8LPA for all branches with approx. 85% placements. If any student didn't get placed then he/she can go for Ph.D. at IIT Delhi as the college has signed MoU with IIT Delhi.
You need to qualify JEE Mains exam for this college. JEE Mains application fees: 600rs-700rs Reservations you can avail Home state quota ( only eligible in the state from where you have completed your 12th). General EWS, OBC, and SC/ST are caste-based reservations. Girls quota reservation ( only for girls).
The average in the electrical department is 7.5LPA and placements in the IT sector are increasing rapidly with an average package of 10LPA and the highest of last year 42LPA at Microsoft. The training and placement department is highly active to increase placements.
Qualify JEE mains. Participate in JOSAA/ CSAB counseling. Branch will be allowed to your rank. Once you finalize the college and branch then physical reporting and document verification will be done in the Institute you have opted for. These steps are very easy then further you can continue to enjoy college life.
For NITs we have to clear the JEE Mains exam with a good rank. You can apply for JEE Mains during the end of the 12 th class. For NIT Srinagar there is a state Quota due to which students of Jammu and Kashmir can get admission for higher ranks also. Also there is reservation for SC , ST and OBC students.
GSBy - Gurvinder SinghThe admission process at the national institute of Technology Srinagar is purely based on jee main performance like other NITs in the country. In order to get admission here at NIT Srinagar, you need to clear JEE Main with a healthy rank.
IBy - IrfanAdmission will be based on jee main rank. You should check the recent cutoff so that you get an idea about your preferred college. You have to do counseling which is organized by jossa every year.
