Bangalore University offers full-time M.Com courses for a duration of 2 years divided into 4 semesters. Each Semester consists of 16 weeks or more duration with a minimum of 90 actual working days. The M.Com degree is offered in General, Financial Analysis and International business.The minimum eligibility criteria for M.Com are at least 50% marks in Bachelor’s Degree in commerce from Bangalore University or any other recognized university. Bangalore University M.Com Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for the courses are mentioned below:

M.Com B.Com/B.B.M. Degree Examination of BU University or any other recognized University and has secured not less than 50% marks in aggregate in Commerce subjects in all the examinations of the B.Com/BBM course
M.Com (Financial Analysis) Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Commerce/Accounting/Management/ Economics of this University or any other recognized University and have secured at least 50% marks in the aggregate of all papers studied in the qualifying examinations
M.Com (International Business) Bachelors or Master’s Degree examination of Bangalore University or any other university & have secured at least 50% marks in the aggregate of all papers studied in the qualifying examination.

Bangalore University M.Com Course Details

  • The Course of 2 years duration is divided into four semesters, and each semester consists of seven papers (including practical’s)
  • Candidates are required to maintain a record for computer practicals, which will have to be certified by the Chairman / Co-ordinator of the course, failing which students will not be permitted to take the final examination in that subject.
  • Attendance: Each course (theory/practical) is treated as an independent unit for attendance. A student needs to attend a minimum of 75% of the total instruction hours in a course (theory/practical) including tutorials and seminars in each semester. The student who fails to secure 75% attendance in a course is required to repeat that semester.
