After 6th sem, you are eligible for campus placement. Some of the big companies are Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Flipkart, and many more. And 400+ offers are made. The highest package is 1.2 Crore and the average is nearly about 10 lakh.
I have cleared JEE Mains exam 2021 and got around 65k rank. In the JoSAA counseling, I got civil engineering in NIT Jalandhar. So to get admission to any NIT you have to get a good rank in JEE mains examination. The application form for JEE main examination will be uploaded on NTA official site. As every NIT has 50% reserved seats under the home state quota. So there is always hope that you can also study at a premier college like NIT.
The institute has a strong record of placements, with many of its graduates securing jobs in top companies in the country. The highest package in the 2021 Batch was 1.2 Cr secured by a student of Electronics and Communication Department in Amazon Dublin. The average package has also gone up in the past few years. Currently the average packages of circuital branches range from 11 lpa in ICE to about 17lpa in CSE and ECE. The average package in lower and core branches are quite low with average package of about 8 lpa. However, the Training and Placement Cell is working actively with top companies to provide internships and job opportunities to the students.
The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main is a national level engineering entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). It is held annually for admission to undergraduate engineering program at various engineering colleges across India. To be eligible candidates must be citizen or OCI, have passed Class 12th or equivalent in 2019/2020 or be appearing in 2021 (for JEE Main 2021), have a minimum of 75% marks in Class 12th (65% for reserved category candidates), and be at least 17 years old. The application process involves filling out an online form, uploading documents, and paying a fee. The exam has a reservation policy for SC, ST and OBC candidates, including a relaxation in minimum marks and a quota of seats.
After the 6th sem, students start sitting for placements Google, Intuit, Amazon, Samsung, Z Scaler, and Nvidia were some who visited this time. Highest - 55 LPA Average for Cse - 16 LPA 150+ out of 166 students of Cse placed this year already
Applied through JOSAA Cleared JEE for that Scored 99.2 percentile Had a rank under 10000 Eligibility is just the cut-off and in the case of Cse, it was 10900 for Home state general boys and 8900 for other state boys. Didn't avail any reservation
Placements are too good for NITJ. You can get an average placement of around 10 LPA according to records. But yes most of the people get placed with a descent package of 8 LPA as the average is increased by extremely bright students who get a package of 1 CR. , 50 LPA, and many such. But there is a harsh reality for getting a good placement you need to do coding as most the placement are done in the software industry.
Admission to NITs takes place through JEE mains exam. For attempting JEE exam you should have passed classes 10 and 12 class or going to appear for 12 in the same year when you are going to appear for JEE. And for taking admission to the B.Tech course for ECE in NITJ your general rank cutoff is around 16000 in AIR and for the Punjab quota its around 19000. Reservation benefits are available in JEE mains.
From 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements/ or internships for PPOs All big brands come for the campus placements Most popular names are Google, Amazon, Atlassian, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, ServiceNow, Flipkart, Walmart Two students from the IT department namely Anjali Gupta and Tanisha Gupta got internship/PPO offers from Atlassian which gives a CTC of 82 LPA which is so far the highest for the It branch, for ece branch, the highest was 1.2 crore by amazon, Dublin bagged by Rajan Arora of ece department The average placement of CS/IT/ECE is 18-20 lakhs per annum Rest all branches get the average placement of 9-10 lakhs per annum 100% of students get offers for CS/IT /ECE few leave for higher education and a maximum of around 90% take the offers Around 400 offers were made for CS/IT/ECE My plan after this degree is to do a side job at facing the company and then after two years, start my startup
Eligibility: Not more than two drops for jee main else any candidate >98.5 percentile score in jee main if a home state candidate Else >99 percentile score in jee main for other state candidates Go through Jose counseling for the application process, application fees at the Jose portal only for that particular year More details for the particular nit will be at their official website Improvements: the process should be more fast and physical reporting should be funded
1) Form 7th Semester Students are eligible for the campus placement only if student have not any backlog as companies not allowed the students with backlog. 2) Bharat Petroleum Corporatiom Ltd. , No. Of offers - 20 3) Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. 19 lakh ( R and D) 4) 90 percent 5) Having a job in reputed company.
1) class 12th with pcmb 2) on official website of jee mains 3) its based on family income, as my family income is less than 1 lakh so that my tuition fee become zero for my whole course. 4) pls don't add reservation on marks because all have same brains so there is no meaning of reservation in marks.
The placements are very good. Most of the students get placed except those in further studies. The highest package offered was 40LPA by amazon and the average is 7.5LPA. In chemicals, More than 95% of students get placed.
To be honest, I got a seat in chemical engineering in this college as home state quota, it's good with respect to placements but the infrastructure is quite old. Last year I applied for CSAB and got a seat in chemicals, the counselling was held between 1 to 7 August. As I was near to it, so I preferred this.
As the last year started placements also started in the college i.e.5 semesters. total 120+ companies visited last year and a total of approx 80-90% of students placed with an average package of 12 LPA. The highest package was 1.3 CR+ this year. also, all the top tech companies like Microsoft, Google, Facebook, Amazon, and Flipkart came to the campus every year. different job offers like Software developer, data analyst, marketing, manager post and many more post are offered by companies. After 4 years my plans are to get placed in a top tech giant.
There is an entrance exam called JEE ( joint entrance examination ) this exam is conducted by the government every year for getting students admission to IITs, NITs, and IITs. better the rank you get more is your chance to get admission in these premium institutes. there is a cutoff present for every institute, one can get admission if he/she has scored more marks than the cutoff.
In the third semester companies reach campus to provide internships. And then in the fourth semester providing placement. Many Companies like Amazon, Byju's, Physics wallah, Samsung and many more come to the campus. The highest package was 51 lac and the average package was 15 lac this year.
One can take admission through an entrance exam i.e. JEE MAINS and on the basis of their scores, they can get the desired NITs and IITs. And if one belongs to some category they get the benefit of a respected category. The application is released on their official website.
Placement in CSC, ECE, and electrical is very good. But from branches like chemical, Mechanical, civil, textile, And biotech. Students who are good at coding get packages of above 8 lac easily. In civil and mechanical placement in the core sector, I have planned to give a gate examination and get PSU. Otherwise, go for placement.
I have come through Jee mains ranking based. The college hostel is good. The campus is 153 acres around. The campus is nice. During hostel allotment, there is some lack of management. Food in the mess is average.
We have to give jee then you will get rank according to which choose nit then admission reporting happens at nit, required documents like Jee admit card, etc, and school pass out certificate. You will find all things lost which you have to find on nitj website. Reservation helps in getting paid less fee.
DMBy - Deepak MeenaWe have to give Joint Entrance Examination Mains and have to score a certain percentile according to the different branches. Branches are alloted through JOSAA and CSAB counselling. 50% percent of seats are allotted to state quota students and 50% for other students.
AMBy - Arvind Singh MawaiYou will have to write JEE entrance exam to get eligible for this college. After appearing for JEE exam you will have to fall under a certain rank. you can find out on the college's official portal to find it out.
