Anna University BE Eligibility Criteria

Admissions to Bachelor of Engineering course is carried out through a counseling procedure that the college conducts. The basic eligibility for the course is:

10+2 from a recognized board / university with a minimum of 55% marks and not less than 50% marks in each physics, chemistry and mathematics.
A considerable score in TNEA.

Anna University BE Admission Guidelines

The admissions to this course are carried out through TNEA.

A candidate for admission to BE needs to appear for TNEA. No entrance exam is conducted as such but merit is considered.
After getting a considerable score, he/she can fill the form for the counseling procedure.
The form is available on the official website of the university.
He/she can choose their preferred college from the ones that are affiliated to the university.
A merit list is prepared based on 10+2 marks and colleges are allotted based on the merit list.
If selected, fill the application form of the college and submit the required documents then proceed for fee payment.
The documents that are usually required are aadhar card, birth certificate, transfer certificate, 10th and 12th mark sheet, migration certificate, caste certificate (if applicable).
Further if the fee and documents are verified, the admission is finalized.

Better placements with experienced professionals.

I choose the Electrical and Electronics engineering course because the future technology industries require electrical engineers. The faculty and students ratio is in the correct per cent. The course syllabus was beneficial for me in terms of learning. The teachers teaching my course is highly qualified, with most holding PhD degree. Their expertise and knowledge make my course more interesting and easy to learn and study. Passing exams is difficult for me, But thanks to the teachers they helped me to clear the papers without any backlogs.

I choose electrical engineering because I have an interest in electrical works and I have some basic electrical and electronics knowledge.
