What students say about Amity University

Likes

  • The faculties were also very good. They used to support their students. Dr. Seema Rizvi guided me, and it was under her guidance that I topped the class.
  • It was very good; I have done my internship from Aditya Birla Hindalco Delhi, and I had learned a lot about networking.
  • The placements and job opportunities are very good at my college. Additionally, we receive an internship diary from our faculties, which helps every student to focus on their internship.
  • Yes, scholarships are provided by the college if you have scored an excellent percentage on your boards.
  • Campus life is really good, as the infrastructure provided by Amity is excellent.
  • The meal quality is very good, including a very healthy diet and even including quite crispy foods too.
  • It is the best college in Lucknow for all courses. They try their best to place you.

Dislike

  • The college internship was really not good; you will learn almost nothing as they will not provide you with any assistance.
  • Since I have not been given that opportunity, I dont think that the placement cell puts efforts to bring companies and give their students an opportunity.
  • I have not opted for the hostel, but I have heard from my friends that the mess food is very bad and they charge 3000 every month. They provide four meals a day - breakfast, lunch, evening snacks, and dinner. They also have a paid canteen which is a little bit expensive

Placement Experience:

From the past few years, the placements are quite good. This year the maximum placement till now is 28LPA which is again a very good ROI as seen from tier 3 colleges. Most of the students get placed and there are mass recruiters to give placements to plenty of students.

Remarks:

Any person who has opted PCM in 12th and secured more than 75% in 12th is eligible to opt this course. The application form is available on offcial website of Amity University Lucknow. There are no reservation benefits as such but there is scholarship criteria depending on the marks secured in 12th.

Placement Experience:

Placement in amity is far better than other Tier colleges. They have a separate technical placement center in India that looks for placements of students all over the country. Final-year students are eligible to sit in the placements. The highest package for my batch is 28lpa and almost all the students got placed till the end. Various good mnc companies visit Amity like Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Shell, Capgemini, TCS, etc.

Remarks:

First is direct admission for students who got 80% or above in the 12th examination. Second, the below students have to go through the AmityJEE examination. You can apply for any course on the website of Amity then you will receive a call from the admission department.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Mba at Amity University Lucknow is really good compared to other universities in the city as the name and brand which amity brings and with all the qualified teachers most of them being Mba and PhD holders The teaching facility is really good with smart classes and exams are like conducted on time on the given date on the university's own app

Remarks:

The eligibility of the course was mandatory 50 per cent or above in graduation and a cat score of 60 per cent or above The online pg admission form was available on the university website And the improvement I want is a smooth process like there were many delays

Placement Experience:

In pharmacy from the 7th semester, you're eligible for placements. Cipla and etc. are the company that offers, 7 Lakh/year is the average package. You'll definitely have to get a good CGPA throughout your studies.

Remarks:

Direct admission through the 12th percent, or sometimes there is GD/PI. You can directly apply on the amity university website and you have to wait till any confirmation is received from the university faculty.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was great. University conducted regular examinations as well as practical viva/exams. The three-continent program is also there for students who opt for foreign education. The faculty is really friendly and cooperative and highly experienced.

Remarks:

Admission was easy. No entrance exam was required for my admission. There was a 60% minimum percentage for direct admission and therefore no admission exam was required for me to join the university. Overall experience was good.

Placement Experience:

Placements were there. During the final semester, the company used to visit the university and select some of the compatible students. College gave all the students 2 options that whether they want college placements or not. Some of the students with family backgrounds didn't wish for college placements while others did opt for it.

Remarks:

The admission process was quite easy. I didn't have to give any entrance exam tests because of the marks of my high school board exams. The entrance exam has to be given by students who secured less than 60% marks in their board exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My background is in the IT sector so I opted for this course. Overall faculty is very helpful and very lean in checking papers. The majority of them have Ph.D. degrees. End sem exams are held after the semester and no difficulty in getting good marks.

Remarks:

Eligibility of the course is you should have a minimum of 75% in your 12th boards. Application forms in available on the official site of Amity University. In my case, there are no reservation benefits and further, there is a very clear admission process.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen this course because I have an interest in the history subject, I always had a curiosity side in my heart for history as I always want to know and study history. The faculty is very much helpful and they help the students with theri learning ability and always try to make the subject interesting I don't have much idea about the qualification of the faculty but the professor should a have a PhD on the given subject or he/she should be doing PhD on that particular subject Exams are taken on every semester i.e. every six months, it isn't that difficult to pass the exams if you are studying for the semester daily for 3,4 hours you can pass the exam

Remarks:

The eligibility of my course is that you have to pass your 12th standard with above 50%. You can find the application form on the official site of amity university (amity.edu). I am from the general category so I have no idea about the reservation benefits. There is no improvements I want to see in the admission process it's so smooth that I haven't faced any problems in it

Placement Experience:

The college calls many companies and runs 1 monthly placement program in the last year of the course. The average placement package is 1400000. At least 30% of students get placed. I will continue my study further.

Remarks:

The admission process was very smooth. I got every query on the college website and I also applied from there. The eligibility of my course is 10+2. There is no entrance exam but I had to give one interview. There is a scholarship provided by the college itself to the topper students.
