I can say, that the college has one of the best faculty I have ever seen. The course curriculum is also very good as it has a very planned course which enables you to be a good lawyer in the future. The professors are very good and knowledgeable and most important the way they teach is amazing. One can score high marks if he has clear knowledge of the subjects.
Aspirants need to crack the Calcutta University law entrance exam & achieve good merit to qualify. you need to apply online & get admit card online. Some sits are reserved for SC/ST/OBCs. Normally to confirm admissions here one needs to rank within 2000 applicable for all students including the general category.
There are 120 Students in one year. Moreover, the faculty of the college is good. They are helpful. The teachers and the office staffs are also good. Being an LLB course, of course, it will be a bit difficult. Exams are a bit difficult.
Firstly you need to secure good marks. Secondly, there is no application fee, it's free of cost. Application forms are released between July to August. There are advantages for those people who are having SC, ST, and OBC. There are 13 Law colleges under Calcutta University and out of them only 4 colleges are proper Government colleges and the rest of the colleges are Government undertakings.
I wanted to study law that's why I went for this option. The faculty is very good. The teachers are also very good. There are 120 students in every Government college. Exams are not very difficult, but as it is law so it's a bit difficult.

Choosing of B.A.LLB depends on individual and faculty is good in almost every government colleges. There are 120 seats in every government college. There is student union in colleges which is very friendly and helpful. First semester is likely to happen in February and 2nd semester is likely to happen in July. Coming to the exams, if you are choosing law then, of course, the course is difficult, but if you study properly then definitely you will be able to pass the exams.
Firstly you have to give an entrance exam name West Bengal Joint Entrance for Law, then if you secure good marks or a good rank in the examination then you will be able to get into a proper government college, there are 13 law colleges under Calcutta University, out of 13 law colleges, 9colleges are government undertaking and 4colleges are proper government colleges, its gonna be an advantage for you if you have any kind of reservations like SC, ST, OBC. Having any kind of reservations will definitely help you to get into a proper government Law college. Lastly, there is no application fee and application forms are released between July to August, you will have to keep a check on that.

The admission process is very simple. Application fees are zero. I filled out the form online and got selected according to my merits score. Here the selection is mainly merit-based no such entrance or anything else. The eligibility is that you have to pass out B.Sc. with 55% marks, that's all. And there is also a reservation system everywhere.
