Staff Members and Scholars

The eligibility for such candidates is a ME/ M.Tech/M.Sc or any other Master’s degree with at least two years of work experience in the relevant field.

IIT Palakkad Ph.D. Selection Criteria

• The institute conducts the written test for shortlisting students.
• However, those who have a valid score in GATE/NBHM/CSIR NET/UGC NET are exempted from the written test and are shortlisted based on their score in the mentioned exams.
• The shortlisted candidates have to further appear for the Interview which helps the authority in making the final decision.
• Hence, candidates are selected based on their written test/entrance exam score followed by an interview.

Key Points:

• Application regarding PDF is required to be submitted to the Dean R &D by the applicant. Dean will send the application along with the letter of recommendation to the Admission Committee.
• Candidates will be offered Stipend of INR 45000-55000 during coursework.
• Candidates for Ph.D. (Engineering and Sciences) should submit the necessary application forms to the institute directly for admission.
