Hostel:

I was staying in PG which cost 400 CAD a month with 400 CAD one time deposit. As the time passes you might feel Grocery and Travelling is really expensive here in Canada until you start earning. Occasionally trips are been organized by college which cost you very less so do visit.

Whole IT department has different campus. Located in center Downtown of Toronto. Relative course with less duration.

One can find for accommodation easily on Facebook market place or Kijiji. Depending upon the preference like location and if one wants to rent alone or sharing basis all of it can be found easily on these two platforms. Rent could cost anywhere from $2700- $400.

George brown is a renowned designated learning institute (DLI). As I was searching for Health Informatics program and GBC was the only college offering a pgdm. The best part about GBC is that most of its programs have CO-OP opportunity, which helps a student get some relevant paid experience in their respective field of study. Being a dental graduate from India, I wanted to pursue my masters degree in Canada but as our degree is not accredited by the Canadian government, I had to choose for a different course. Health Informatics at that time seemed to be the best option as it is one of the rapidly emerging field in the health sector. Especially during the pandemic everyone could realize how important it is to augment information technology with the health sector.

The main factor in choosing GBC was the program included specialization in the field I wish to work in the future. No other college provided that. Another factor was the professors are top-class. Most of them are industry professionals and teach industry techniques. Lastly, the college is in Toronto and has world-class facilities and a campus.

On campus housing can be expensive and they are currently suspended due to Covid. Off campus housing is good and can range from 350 - 500 CAD on sharing basis & 500 - 1000 CAD for a personal room

It is one of the oldest & best colleges in Downtown Toronto. As it is Downtown the Part-time & full-time Job opportunities are also ample.

There is college-provided accommodation which usually gets filled real quick. I never stayed there.

I chose this college as it was giving me the exact same course that I always wanted with a mandatory co-op. Also, it was in the heart of the city -Toronto, so choosing this college for my studies was a good choice.

No, i live a bit far from college with my friends.

It had the option of CO-OP. And it is located in the heart of Toronto, which can be a great advantage to make connections and for future job prospects.

GBC is one of the most reputed colleges in Canada and especially in Ontario. With it's campuses in Downtown Toronto, it is one of the well recognized college among employers of GTA for it's courses and quality of education. These were few of the factors I discovered while doing research and hence decided to choose GBC.

The off-campus accommodation works for me as the college residence was a bit expensive for me. So I decided to rent a basement in an affordable area. In total, I was paying 500 and get the get my own room with three times a meal a day unless in college residence where I was supposed to pay way more than this.

This is one of the best colleges in downtown Toronto. I have researched that after the universities ranking this college has really good goodwill in the education sector. This college has maintained all the rules and regulations and always helped students from different nations to help them in different countries. I am particularly from the education background student. But I feel like to change the domain. As the supply chain and the customs market in Canada has a really good scope so I applied for this course and got selected.

I am living off campus as my campus is in core downtown and does not have its on residences and the rental accommodations are very expensive and unaffordable as students currently. The monthly expenses of living comes around 700-800$ per month.

As it is a very well known and so far the best business school in Toronto, I always wanted to get in there but got late in the first attempt, so it became a challenge for me to get into it. Having a background in commerce, I have always been in the list of toppers in my graduation days and I accepted the challenge to enter my dream college.
